We were looking for a small cutting cake that would not only taste fantastic but also look the part, and Sugar Lab delivered beyond our expectations.

From the start, Sugar Lab offered us several options for our wedding cake, allowing us to choose what would best suit our needs. We decided on a small 2-tier cake (which technically is not part of their "wedding" selection but worked perfect for what we needed) for an intimate touch, and the journey to creating our dream cake was nothing short of delightful.

To ensure our cake was as delicious as it was beautiful, we went to their location and picked up a tasting box to decide on our cake flavor and frosting. Sugar Lab had an array of delicious combinations that made it so fun to choose. Every cake flavor and frosting we tried was a delight, but ultimately we decided on a vanilla bean cake with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting!

When it came to the look of the cake, I shared some inspiration photos with Sugar Lab, and they were not only able to accommodate our vision but were also transparent with pricing. The design I wanted cost extra, but their cake decorator was incredible and it was worth it! Their attention to detail and willingness to bring our vision to life made the process stress-free.

I had a DIY cake topper that I wanted to include, and Sugar Lab made the process easy for me. I was able to drop it off ahead of time, and the decorator placed it perfectly on the cake. It was a personal touch that made the cake even more special to us.

The entire process with Sugar Lab was seamless, and on our wedding day, the cake was an absolute showstopper. Our guests raved about how delicious it was, and the cake added a touch of elegance to our celebration.

I called to placed my order with Janel, I order a tiered cake my 9" with 6" my 9" was chocolate with mocha and my smallest cake was vanilla with strawberry I paid $290.00 expensive cake I'm thinking I'm getting the best cake. My cake arrived on June 8. We were very excited especially to taste the chocolate with mocha. Well my cake got missed up with other cake per Kelly my cake turn out to be all vanilla with strawberry. So I was very disappointed. I had to await until June 11 to until the bakery was open. I spoke with Kelly very rude lady. First thing she tells me was... were you able to serve the cake I said yes but we were looking forward for the chocolate with mocha that was the reason I order that one to be my biggest cake. We are chocolate lovers. Kelly said okay it's to late to fix the problem, Kelly offer me a 4" cake so my niece can at least have a taste of the chocolate cake. I was very disappointed, I ask her if she can make me my 9" cake and give me some money back $100.00 I paid for the 9" $150.00. Kelly said I was asking for too much. Kelly got upset and hang up the phone. I had to call her back. I'm a business owner I always take care of my customers. If I was in her shoes I will bake the 9" and refund her money that she paid for the 9". I will never return to sugar Lab. Very poor customer services!

What a disappoint their product was! And it was my first experience with this business! My mother ordered a small cake for a a relative's 60th birthday. A special day, right? They told my mom (and, later me, when I inquired over the phone what it would like) that they would make it "pretty". I tried to press the female I was talking to on the phone (her name maybe started with an "A"??) to try to find out what exactly "pretty" meant...flowers, balloons, butterflies? And, what color is "pretty"? What colors would it have on it? What my mom ended up receiving on the event day was the most plain and sad birthday cake you could ever imagine. They didn't even script the writing with flourishes! My mom bought colored sprinkles just to give it some color and make it appear more festive. They might have gotten my mom's money but they will never get MY money, and they won't get her's again. Let the buyer beware.
