Their food wasn’t terrible, but the service was the worst.

We were ordering for a family of 7, found them on Yelp and decided to eat there instead of the place across the street and immediately regretted it once we got our food.

We ordered 3 Bean and Burritos, and according to the menus they were supposed to come with rice and beans. They did not, we went back to the window to ask if we maybe missed the rice and beans somewhere, but we were told that “only the meat” burritos come with rice and beans. Well, that’s not what the menu says (picture attached).

Rather than argue, we bought 2 sides of beans and rice. When they handed them to us, it was one side, not two. “Um, we ordered 2 sides” we begged. “This is two sides, just put into a larger container”. Well, we ordered 2 sides for a reason, since we had 2 kids who needed them. They continued to argue with us, so we ended up having to order more.

The gal taking orders had an attitude for sure, but the rest of the crew wasn’t any better. The food was ok. But nothing special.

Portions were great, I got the carne Asada burrito and it was great! Food was hot and served quickly.

One other thing to note is their salsa and enchilada sauce was rather spicy. My wife and kids all eat hot salsa on a regular basis, but this was a bit more than they could handle. I personally didn’t think it was too hot, but some would think it is.

There are other options near Ventura Pier area that are better, wish we would have just gone there. But we had already left the beach and didn’t want to pay...

I have been a customer of this place for over 2 decades. Their atmosphere and service have deteriorated drastically. There was these teenage boys working on a Sunday morning. I drove from two cites over to stop by to get some food for my sick family at home. They made me wait 45 minutes for my order of 2 breakfast burritos and a quesadilla. It was busy, but there were other people waiting a long time also. We watched as others kept on ordering after us and leaving way before us. Come to find out, it is all about the tip. If the people added a tip, their food was called in a matter of minutes. If not then you waited a ridiculous amount of time. Everyone was ordering the same things. I started to ask. Then I finally got my food and left. With all the napkins and chips in the bag I figured everything was in the bag. No. So I drove 2 cities back home to find out the forgot my kid’s quesadilla. So I drive all the way back because they would not answer their phone. When I get there and tell them what happened, no apology, nothing!! The worker said, “Oh you left your quesadilla.” Mind you my whole family is sick and still waiting for the food. 2 hours later. The quesadilla was gross. The burritos had too many beans which I asked “light beans.” This place has lost its edge. Poor service, NO respect or humility, food is less than average now. I will never ever go back and this is like the 3rd time the food has been less than good.

The absolute worst customer service! The menu indicates that burritos come with rice and beans, we ordered according to that information. As our food cane out there was no rice and beans for the 4 bean and cheese burritos we ordered. I kindly went over and asked, she said that was only for meat burritos??? Uhhhm but your menu says otherwise. I had to calm the kids so I reluctantly ordered two sides of rice, she quoted me $6 for two sides of rice! I asked her and she said that only the sides were .75.... I asked for sides. I received my rice in one container, I said “I ordered two” she said it was two just in one container. I asked for a container to put half in and she said it would cost me $1.62 EXCUSE ME! I will not pay for a container when you chose to put both sides together.

Food was okay. It was expensive for what it was and I hate so much that I tipped before we received our food and service.

Even though they have a building they won’t let you use their restroom which is frustrating when you just spent $70 on a meal.
