GameStop — Attraction in Vincennes

I rarely leave reviews for anywhere I go, but this instance I felt needed to be recorded. I was at this store to browse, unaware it was PS5 release day, so there was a very short line outside. Upon my approach to the door, I noticed a sign saying max occupancy of 8 people, but there were only 5 people inside, 2 of which were customers. I opened the door to ask if I could come in, and was rudely told about their max occupancy of only 2 people on release day. I was not aware of this, and no one informed me while I was outside. The lady then had the audacity to repeat herself, as if I did not understand what she said, twice. I've visited this store multiple times in the past without any issue, and mostly with pleasant interactions with the employees. This one instance will now keep me away from this location. In troubling times like this, I would expect better customer service. I'm an understanding person and would have happily waited if I had been informed more politely, but I instead decided to walk away. I'll take my business to...

My son and I went in there to look at controllers for his Xbox series S and he was talking to the gentleman at the register and two other employees were making fun of my son and that is poor Customer relations. The gentleman was arguing with my son about the controllers for the Xbox series S and he said they only last a year and he recommended that we not buy it. My son clearly knows when he bought his controller and how old his controllers are and the gentleman didn’t even attempt to look it up, but he continue to argue about it. Would leave a negative stars if I could my husband went and took our original Xbox one to trade in and they told my husband that there were bugs legs sticking out the sides. Mind you we just got this from a pawn shop and they cleaned it. And then they dropped our Xbox on the floor and said they couldn't take it.
