I didn't stay at the hotel on property but was only here for an event. So my review will be very skewed and limited as far as an is it in depths review may go.
There seems to be multiple parking garages spread out around the property as you circle. Walking in can actually be confusing so I don't find a clear direction as to which way I'm supposed to go to the main building. It's not a big deal Bixby because I just followed the guy that was unpacked all of his stuff for the convention.
I've been coming here for 3 years in a row. I come during the month of July for an amazing event called Southern fried game an expo. If it's July or you live in the area and you're reading this review save the date for SFGX.
The main area that I was in was the arcade floor. It's a large bear concrete areaDoes very good for the convention while I'm. There's a really nice little smoking area, where everybody sits under the trees.
I wish they didn't charge so much for parking. Being somebody coming from out of town exclusively Florida the parking price was pretty crazy and shocking to me for 3 days. I'm actually so cheap, That I parked across the street in the bagel parking lot And then cross the main highway to get back to the show. The parking systems also Ignorantbecause pain at the stupid little kiosks is artillery frustrating and finding the right one at the right time. If you think you're being smart and pay when you first walk in you're in for surprise when you leave and the gate doesn't open because you were there for a longer amount of time.
I believe some people call this place dated in appearance but I really can't see anything too wrong with. The most stated thing all the empty stores in the underground mall. This is a great location for...
Read moreVery calming atmosphere and professional staff all around. I had a very organized and tidy room overlooking the cute green square that reminded me of a small-scale central park in NYC. The inside of the hotel looked astounding and was, for the most part, nice and quiet on the 9th floor. With the size it is, I was surprised I couldn't hear more than I did! (Well done)
The spa was closed and the pool hours were not properly updated anywhere online that I could find, however, I got to enjoy their tiny (it really is a quaint pool) pool all by myself to work out in. The deepest part was in the middle at roughly 4 feet. Their workout room has a giant window out into the pool deck, so you can keep an eye if you want to enjoy the hot tub after a workout.
There were a few tiny maintenance issues that I came across and let the staff know on checkout, but those minor issues did not detract from any part of my experience. For an area that I kept being warned away, I am glad I got to experience it myself so that I could write this ^_^.
P.S Thank you for the warm reception to Erika at the home depot conference! I'm glad of that mix up and had a wonderful start to my...
Read moreWe are from out of town and not too long ago during walker stalker my dad and I got a flat tire outside this mall. We pulled up in front of the building to change the tire (we had a spare and come to find out there was a three and a half inch metal spike in the tire we were driving on, it was NOT drivable) not two minuets after my dad Jacks up the car and begins to change it, a security guard comes out points at the "no parking" sign and in a not so nice tone informs us we can NOT park there. We tell her he's changing the tire and we'll be gone soon and she tells us if we don't leave right now she will call the police. How were we supposed to leave with the car jacked up and an extremely flat tire??? After she realized my dad is finally almost done she gets huffy and says "fine. You can finish but I'm standing right here and watching until you're done." Five minuets and an anxiety attack later (Caused by the threat she was going to call the police but she blamed on my dad) we left. It was honestly the worst experience I had all weekend and I didn't even get to step inside their mall. I wish I could give it 0 stars but I guess one...
