My son went to Noah's Ark for approximately 2 years and it was mostly good until there was a management change. Multiple families including ours had an issue with a child who was being a bully. We attempted to resolve this issue with Pastor Tino, however, he would not return a call to my wife for 2 weeks despite multiple attempts to reach him. I called and within 1 hour he returned my call. I was told that "if my child were being bullied, it was because my child was approaching the bully. That the bully had been assigned to a teacher and was supervised 100% of the time." This is not the case at all. I was also told that the day in question that my child was not even at the daycare. I was also told furthermore that the bully had not been permitted to go on field trips as a punishment. However, every instance Tino alleges the child was not permitted to go on a trip, there is a photo of said child on the field trip posted to their Facebook page. I was then told "boys will be boys" and that "if I wasn't satisfied with the job they were doing, I could send my child elsewhere." People like Pastor Tino are the reason bullies have a place to live in this world. He makes excuses and refuses to enact any kind of discipline. If your child does the right thing, they will just continue to be the target of bullies. I have since pulled my child from Noah's Ark due to this, which we really hate, because prior to all these instances my child really enjoyed the place. Tino definitely gives me the sense that he values a man's opinion over a woman's as he refused to call my wife for 2 weeks. People like him have no place supervising children. Furthermore, anyone can walk in and pick up your child. The daycare does not vet anyone, has a completely unlocked door and just takes your word for it if you say you are there to pick anyone up. In today's world, this just does not work for me. Half the time the front desk staff are too busy in their phones to give you the time of day anyway. If you value your children, look elsewhere. This place still operates with old testament values and does not look out for...
Read moreI walked into the doors of this church almost 9 yrs ago and never left. Prior to to this I had attended the same church for 32 yrs. if you are looking for more than a church...... A spiritual home, a place to belong, a family. Come to Life Tabernacle, you won't be sorry you did. The children's ministry " Kids Life". Is exciting, moving, bible based teachings that your 4 to 12yr old will love. Then our Teen ministry is so active the young people are more like siblings than church members. At Life unlike most churches there are constantly ongoing classes for the men, women and young adults. Speaking of women we have two separate yet interlocking women's groups "THRIVE" and "ROOTED". Each is as individual as they are alike. Each serving the Lord, the church, and the women of the church in different ways. These groups are BOTH open to all women of the church ages 0 to 100.
