If you have another KFC location near you, go to it. Don't go to this one. The employees are rude for no reason.
I ordered Korean BBQ nuggets and Mandy (not even the one taking my order) didn't like the way I said BBQ so she ranted the whole time I was there. I could hear her through the speaker in the back yelling "BBQ? who says BBQ? it's BAR-BE-QUE" and "No one in the world says BBQ..they say barbeque" even when I pulled up to the window. I really don't know why saying the abbreviation BBQ was so upsetting to her, but for whatever reason, she couldn't let it go. I told her through the window to "calm down it's just a damn word" but she just rolled her eyes and walked away. None of the other employees were any better; they just stood around like deer in headlights staring at me like I was the one who started the whole situation. And the one at the window gave me the silent treatment when handing me my bag.
The nuggets were fat and chewy, so I went back for a refund. Normally I wouldn't but I felt like being a Karen, so I went back for my refund and to confront Ms. Mandy, but again, she hid in the back and wouldn't come out to speak to me. I reckon she reflected on her outright ridiculous and unnecessary attitude and felt embarrassed. The one who handled my refund said Mandy is the manager....KFC, if that is how your manager acts and represents your establishment, I'd say you need to find a new manager. Read moreToday they charged me for and gave me the wrong meal and wrong side. I called in and the manager VC told me that I could bring back the wrong meal with my receipt and they would fix the mishap. Mistakes happen, I understand that and am happy that they were willing to fix it. However when I got there one of the ladies at the drive-through was rude. She tried arguing with me about what I did and did not order, and when I had told her that I had brought back the wrong meal like the manager asked me to do, she rolled her eyes and shook her head at me. Very rude. She didn’t ask me about what side I was supposed to have with my meal, so for a second time I was given the wrong side but thankfully there was another lady at the window who was very sweet and made a point to make sure that I finally got the right side. I did not receive a drink with the corrected meal either, so not only did I have to drive back out to Vinton and not be able to eat with my family I also didn’t have anything to wash the corrected meal down with. I did receive a refund.
Edit: multiple visits, multiple wrong items/orders received. Usually long drive-thru waits. No longer raise the issue with the manager after the last time. If the same issue persists, they probably just don’t care to fix it. I am adding another star though because there’s usually at least one person working the drive-through who has a great...

Upper management also likes to compare this to location to others, the others are nowhere as busy as this one.
I've also seen Upper management wash floor grates in the sink WITH dishes they serve food in just nasty.
They also tell the workers at this store one thing then workers at another store something different, impossible "times" to met 180 seconds from box to window WITH having to drop what yours doing and work on Drive Thru, Front,Lobby,Prep and the pickup/grubhub Etc orders. Actually tell workers they have to stand there and let the guest cuss them out and threaten them, and get on the store managers for "theft" and "waste" when the policy is "even if you know the guest is lieing just give it to them", then complain and losing money...............
Oh yeah then the area where they bread the kitchen? Soap NEVER touches it, they spray it off with JUST WATER no joke, when it does actually get cleaned it's with decreased which does nothing for germs
