Just stopped in to get someone to look at my phone. Had a couple things to ask about. There were other people there. He fixed one thing quickly no problem but the other thing. I'm not sure if he didn't know about or just wasn't willing to go into it. I like Verizon but some of the people will go all the way with you but most that I have been with at a store. It's like they don't want to be bothered or take time to serve you. Like there doing you a favor to help you. Don't know what's wrong with some people there getting paid. Customer service isn't what it used to be. I have however found two outstanding people. One sold me this phone and he was awesome. Stayed over an hour after the store was closed to make things right. I probably would have already bought another phone from him! Unfortunately his wife was expecting and he needed to make more money. So he now works for a car dealership. I still keep in touch. You should have given him a raise and kept him. He was the kind of person that doesn't give up until you are happy. The other guy is at another version store that I don't go by as often. I need to go see if he is still there and get a new phone. He is one of those types that will do anything to help you as well. That's the reason I didn't give five stars. Hope he's still there. One girl at my closest store wouldn't help with my problems unless I bought some package deal. Don't get me wrong it was a good deal. Just not what I wanted. I just wanted help with the current situation. So I left. I'm going to see the fellow at the other Verizon Store soon to get new phone If he isn't there anymore. Don't know? All I know is when you have an outstanding person. Pay them well because they deserve it or they'll leave. Love you Verizon for now...
   Read moreSo if I'm being honest I had previously sworn off cellular sales because of Asurion (satan reincarnated as a cell phone insurer) but in a pinch, I needed a phone and wound up at the location on 419... I got a pixel 6 pro (which I was looking for) and it's garbage. The agent did kinda push it, but I also definitely expected to walk out with that phone. The process was very quick, painless and easy, and legit, it was the first time I've ever left a Verizon store happy. It was clear pretty quick that the pixel 6 pro is awful though... Idk how they haven't like, been forced to recall them all and refund everyone fooled into getting one. That's beside the point-but Google jerked me around with customer service and I really wanted to love it, so I was sure I missed my return window. After 29 days, the phone was being a normal pixel (frozen OS and apps don't work) as I drove past the store. I put on my Karen pants and prepared for war; I've been in this boat before and always faced defeat; but not this time. I was determined to emerge victorious.
I walked in, Dustin helped me. He was very courteous, helpful and disarming. Ultimately, it was no big deal-I was able to return the thing and pre-order an s22, holding onto the pixel til it arrived. Sweet.

   Read moreI dread going to Verizon for a new phone, the process generally takes so many hours that most of us just do not have. I had only previously visited this Vinton location one other time, a few years ago, and it was not a pleasant experience, so I had not returned, and instead had always driven an additional 20 minutes out of the way to the Valley View location. My phone decided to crash this morning on my way to work, and I run my families essential business from my cell phone 24/7, so not having access to it was not an option. The Valley View location is currently closed due to the pandemic, so I decided to look up reviews for this location to see if experiences had been better recently & they had, so I decided to give it a try. I called the location first & Forrest answered the phone, he was extremely polite and told me to come in whenever was convenient for me & that they would take care of me. Forrest met me at the door 30 minutes later & I was in and out within 40 minutes. I was highly impressed with the cleanliness of the store & the professionalism of all of the staff. Thanks to Forrest, I will no longer drive the additional 20 minutes out of the way to the Valley View location, we will visit this Vinton branch for our all of our Verizon business needs.
