Pretty good lunch buffet for a reasonable price. (a lot cheaper than Roanoke Chinese buffets!). Lots off variety, including American dishes such as corn pudding, fried potatoes, stuffed green peppers and motzerella cheese sticks in addition to Americanized Chinese dishes, salad bar, and desserts. Service was good and all were friendly! Has an awesome aquarium with baby starfish, but they're not in the menu! A good place for when you want to get alot to eat that's a little different. 9/22/25 Enjoyed the lunch buffet with it's large variety of Chinese and American dishes. There were several very rich and tasty dishes, mostly with cheese such as the favorite imitation crab covered with cheese, the baked potato halves covered with sour cream and cheese, and the cream cheese stuffed mushroom caps. The spring roll was bland, while the egg roll was tasty. Multiple chicken dishes included pineapple chicken, (on the sweet side) chicken in BBQ sauce, (the chicken was very tender but dry even in the tasty sauce) the honey chicken (which could have used a little more flavor). A pork and mushroom dish was presented with tasty mushrooms and sauce, and very tender but flavorless pork slices. The corn pudding would make any southern cook proud, but the sauteed green bean and onions could have stayed in the saute pan longer. The chicken on a skewer and the vegetable lo mein were wonderfully fresh and delicious. I tried to at least sample every dish, but that was impossible. The salad bar was filled with fresh ingredients and the dessert bar held interesting looking treats that I was too full to try any. Service was excellent, as I was seated quickly, served my chosen beverage, and the wait staff checked several times to ensure I was enjoying the food. Plenty of sauces were available at the food bar, but nothing was availabke to put the sauce in, so i was unable to auces. At check out, I asked if there was a senior citizen discount and the gentleman said a dollar off. I told him my senior citizen age. When I got to the car, I noted on the receipt that he had not taken the small discount off of my bill.

If you’re a person of color please do not come here. There were two different waitresses that passed by me, one with blond hair and the other one Hispanic. They passed my table several times, never introduced themselves , just looked at me up and down and took my empty plate. There is a dude right behind me that got here 20 minutes after me and they have already refilled his drink twice while I have been trying to get the waitresses attention by waving them down, looking at them and even putting my cup to the side next to the empty plates so I could get a refill and not once did they give me one. Don’t know their names, nothing. On top of their horrible racist/prejudice service, there were barely any selections for $16.50. I won’t be coming back here, I recommend the buffet on Hershberger. Better service and food selection.

I was surprised with this buffet! I had visited before and ordered a la carte and menu items. They were very good. So I tried the Buffet. Very good for the price! Steamed shrimp and mussels with available red sauce, and real HOT mustard mixed, is just awesome. They have what ever you want on the buffet including desserts. Every thing I tried was delicious. For the value here, I must give 5 stars. Try it, when you have some time to relax and enjoy. I added photos instead of listing the many choices, and there are more choices than my photos :-)

I visited with friends last Thursday. We arrived at about 815. When the waitress approached, she was very short with us. We ordered some teas and sodas, and commented with her standing there, that we wished they served alcohol. Since we never got menus, we'd have no way of knowing otherwise. As I got up to wash my hands I saw a sign for beers on special. So we tracked her down to change our order. She was annoyed that we changed our minds, but we didn't know better since she didn't tell us. Our food was cold. Every single item on the buffet. Cold, boring, tasteless, drab. Every single pan of food was at least half empty. The soy sauce containers on the table were sticky and crusty. From the food standpoint, everything was awful. Just bad. When we tried to get dessert, the ice cream scoop was sitting in a pool of brown, still muck. We used our own spoons. There was no mint chocolate chip left in the tub, so I asked an employee who was sweeping if I could get some more. She actually shooed me away! She yelled across the dining room for another employee to get it. As we are all eating dessert, a girl was sweeping under and around all of the tables near us. But she was banging the broom into every table and chair leg- hard! And loudly! So loud in fact, that I got up and asked her to quiet down because we were all so distracted that we couldn't continue conversation. It was really unprofessional, and she knew it. All four of us have served in the hospitality industry at some point in our lives. I still do. The food and service was flat out unsatisfactory and...

Its not a bad buffet and at a good price. However the staff are really lacking and dont care about their customers. I have been coming here for several years. Before there was some quite frankly, annoying little girls working on their staff. Now there are 2 younger girls... still kind of annoying but a little more mature. I thought what they said about this country was very inappropriate since theyre serving americans. What one of the girls told me was "america is horrible" and she said "nothing is good about america" "i wish i never come to america" . I told her she should not say those things and if she did not like the country to go back to china. She said I was "dumb" and then pretended to not speak english well. I told the manager about this and the manager just shrugged their shoulders. I guess they can just come to our country and bash everything and the people but if we went to china and bashed them they would arrest us in a heart beat.... I feel uncomfortable spending my money here now at China Wall... its ok for americans to bash their own country because we want better lives... but for them to come here and bash our country like that and then call me "dumb" for standing up for it is not good. I hope i can influence others who also like to eat here...
