The Saturday of the weekend of SITW, I visited the nail shop called PLANET NAILS IN VIRGINIA BEACH... It was an early morning appointment, 10:00 am I walked inside to a beautiful kept nail salon from first glance, very nice. I went to the counter and said "Good morning"..the woman in the photo looked me straight to my face said in a hostile voice "what you want !" I said again "Good morning!" and she proceeded to say " what you want". Now at this point I was contemplating do I leave or do I keep the appointment I made with the beautiful soul .. see she has been doing my nails for almost 2 years and we lost connection in her transfer to another shop and I had finally found her..so I look at this lady now I'm hot and said "WOW, you cant sat good morning!!!"..she rolled her eyes to the ceiling and said in disguise "Good morning" at the point she could have kept it to herself.. My nail tech walked around to the front said greeted me with enthusiasm, again it's been a minute seen I had seen her.. now "grumpy" is looking and smiling now. I said "I let it go she's just a grump"..lo and behold. She comes around the corner being kind and hospitality to two, not Caucasian but maybe Spanish woman. I couldn't believe it..well maybe I should have.. it was only because of the nail the reason why I stayed ..I hate not to patronize this establishment because of this imbecile.. Read morePicked up an order at Walmart and it went smoothly. I was impressed. That was the best experience I have ever had with Walmart. Car broke down when leaving, but had some good Samaritans help me push it back into a parking spot. Walked to Starbucks to get a cup of coffee to help me over my frustration. They messed it up. But when the baristas are busy talking with people (staff or former staff who should know better than to be in the way) you expect something to slip through the cracks. Went to Chick-fil-A to get something to eat while waiting for help to arrive. Busy busy busy . Friendly, fast, delicious. Understanding about my coffee also. Manager saw me pushing my car and asked if I needed anything else. Told him what I was waiting on, he told me that I could wait as long as I needed.
