Yorktown Fishing Pier — Attraction in Virginia

I don’t fish, but I absolutely love visiting the Yorktown Fishing Pier just to take in the beautiful views. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing spot, perfect for a stroll or just standing at the edge to watch the water.

On my last visit, it was a clear day, and you could see for miles—the views were absolutely stunning. Though it was a bit windy, it only added to the refreshing experience of being out by the water.

Whether you’re fishing, taking photos, or simply enjoying the scenery, this pier is a wonderful place to visit. It’s a great way to unwind and appreciate the beauty...

Nice place to visit. Nice scenery fishing is ok..lots of places to get hung up especially at the end of the pier!!..Lots of crabs..spots,stingrays...plenty of historical spots here and ruins..pub near by plus restaurants and site seeing..my wife caught a STINGRAY...WE RELEASED IT.Theres a short video of it here.Very high police presence in the area at night...plenty of places to walk..small beach front..nice place to visit if you are...

There is not ten best fishing there but if you walk to the bridge Dow the road near the coast guard dock the is very very good stripped bass fishing my dad who does not fish very much even bought a fishing license but when the birds come it is time to get fishing because that means the little minnows are there hope this helped ps...
