If I could give 0 stars I would! I have never in my life seen a store with a buy back policy more greedy than this one. I came in today with one saucer complete with all toys, no stains, and cleaned to their buyback policies. Along with this one saucer I gave 2 boxes of brand new diapers valued at $44.59 a box at other retailers, and some baby clothes which I honestly didn’t expect much for since it used clothes. Thinking I’m going to get at least $50 in total for everything I took they offered $20 cash and $37 store credit. I looked at similar saucers and saw them valued $30 and up in their own store, so in my head the math wasn’t adding up. I took the saucer back and left them with the clothes and diapers and they gave me $8 for everything. I truly haven’t been more disappointed and upset with a store that relies on the community for support. Aside from that the employee that helped us was extremely rude, demeaning, and just acting as if she didn’t want to be there. I get it it’s a job we all have our days, but that doesn’t mean to give attitude and disrespect your guests in the store who will be giving business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT BRING YOUR ITEMS FOR THEM TO BUY BACK. YOURE ONLY GOING TO GET RIPPED OFF AND DISRESPECTED. Sell it on offer up or market place, but don’t give them anymore support until they change their buy back policies. Thank you have...
Read moreI wish there was a way to rate just the quality. I would give it a 0. First off, I bought a Disney screen print shirt that said third birthday. I washed it once and when I pulled it out of the washer, all the color was gone off the plastic. This was about a year ago. Then the day before yesterday I buy my son, who is 10, a fortnite sweatshirt. It's brand new. I question the lady on the quality and told her of my previous experience and she said they had great reviews and NO returns. Well duh..... you don't accept returns. So I buy it, my son had it on the next morning (without washing it) and all the print is curling up. I called today asking for a store manager or owner to see if I can return it and she said everything is a final sale. She rudely said, well your son must have done something to it. He literally just sat in class for a 1/2 morning when he noticed it was curling up. Her name is Aquila (spelled how it sounds). I let them know that I was very disappointed and that I would not shop there again and she happily said OK! Don't buy anything new. Worst...
Read moreI've been shopping at Twice Upon A Time Visalia since it opened over 5 years ago. I had a day care and bought clothes, toys, equipment, etc., new and used, all clean & like new condition for less than I could find anywhere. The store is always clean, organized and the staff friendly and helpful. They have top name items you can't find at other stores or venues and will special order if they don't have a size you desire in their normal new line of clothing. In addition, I was paid in advance for all items I took in for re-sell & offered a donation option to local charities for older items...I didn't have to lug anythng back to my home. I tried shopping the "pop-up" venues and they are disorganized, items were unclean and no help to navigate the store; plus you have to set up and sell your own items, then wait for your money on sales and share a percentage of your earnings with the venue for "space" they provide...might as well have a yard sale and keep your profits. I would give Twice Upon A Time Visalia more than a 5 -star rating...
