If I could choose Zero stars I would. First off I ordered hair and paid for express shipping for it to arrive in two days. My hair did not arrive on time as I paid for when I contacted the company. They said that I would have to take the matter up with FedEx. It was a FedEx issue not theirs. I tried to explain that I paid them for express shipping, not FedEx, and that they needed to handle things with FedEx and provide me with a refund. They refused. Then they told me that FedEx denied giving me a refund as well, even though it was in fact delivered late and they admitted that. I told them that I wanted my money back that I paid for additional shipping and that still never took place. I missed my hair appointment with my stylist that is extremely difficult to get into because the Hair came late. I lost my deposit that I put down because I missed the appointment. When I was finally able to get in for my appointment Is when I actually took the hair out of the package and realized of the Six packs of hair I ordered it was awful!! It was extremely thin and the bottom at least 3 1/2 inches was in terrible condition like awful split ends and would need to be Trimmed off. Therefore, I paid a higher amount for longer hair and essentially Would only be able to use 3 inches less of it. After installing the hair by a professional who had been doing extensions for Many years, I left completely dissatisfied with thin hair. After the first wash, I noticed that the hair started coming out in my hands. It was shedding so badly. I had several tapes come out in the first wash. I was so disappointed in the quality and the overall experience that I contacted Customer service. They were extremely condescending in their tone and of course Accept any thing that I was saying about my dissatisfaction. Every opportunity was every rebuttal and a deflection, asking what products I was using, and asking about the experience of the stylist Who installed my hair insinuating that I was not using the proper product or taking care of them And that is why the quality was poor. They told me that because it was outside of the 30 day window that they would not Allow refund. I tried to explain that initially the hair did not arrive as it was supposed to Even after paying for express shipping. I explained that I missed my initial appointment and that had My hair arrived on time I would have noticed these issues within the refund timeframe. The process was ridiculous, and I felt like I was being interrogated. One would think spending that much money if I was dissatisfied with a product that they would want to do anything and everything to make it right. I was told that I had to send in photos of the hair and basically plead my case to Yet another representative for them to think about what they would do if anything. I was so furious. I just ended the call and ended the process and just figured I would have to take the loss. It has not even been six weeks and the Is absolute crap. I am using all of the best Products And have even switched stylist to someone with even more experience And she is also So disgusted at the quality of this hair. There is no way I’m going to be able to Use it any longer. It’s going to have to come out and I’m going to have to buy all new hair. This company is awful and their customer service Is terrible!!! I have been wearing extensions in my hair for over 10 years And I have never had such a poor experience with any other company I have used. PLEASE do not expect professional quality hair nor customer service from this company!! I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau As well as posting my experience on every single review site, social media platform, Every group that I possibly can pertaining to Hair, service extensions, etc. Had this situation have been handled professionally That would be one thing, but it was not!!!! Read moreI chose one star only because choosing no star was not an option. I am a professional hairstylist and salon owner that has been in the extension business for 9 years. I purchased curly extensions from this company and the color did not match. I called to exchange the extensions and they did not have the color I needed. They sent a return email…. That had their address on it, not a professional return label. That’s it, they don’t pay for return shipping and on top of that, they charge a $50 restocking fee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I emailed them to ask if I could exchange when the color comes in and they did not respond. I have called the 1888 number 5 times, there is no answering service, no way to leave a message, nothing. I called the 1925 number, no one has called me back. I use Babe, Bellami, and Hello Darling Extentions and have NEVER experienced customer service like this. I just can’t believe it. I am stunned. I’m sending these back now, sick to my stomach because I really wanted to exchange them for the correct color. It’s hard to find curly extensions. Update: just paid $20 shipping Also, be warned the hair feels like acrylic, it’s has a strange coating that I haven’t seen before. Probably washes off, regardless it’s shiny in a very unnatural way, like something from Amazon.
Respond: I returned calls from the company promptly after they called me at 2:19 and 2:23 and they did not respond to my call. Also, I do not have an email (from over a week ago) responding to my request for the exchange nor did I see anything about offering an option with a proposed time frame in which the correct color would be available. If this information was sent, per the company’s response, please email me again with the date and time stamped email and I will rethink my review. $60 to send something back for a company that doesn’t offer a way to match color before buying...
Read moreI purchased 4 packs of hair extensions and a professional membership from perfect locks on June 4th, 2018 in the amount of $437.61. After installing 3 of the 4 packs of hair extensions on my client on June 15th, 2018, she returned just over a week later to have them removed due to the hair discoloring from blonde to orange. My client has been getting hair extensions from me for years, and we have never had this problem before with other hair extension brands. I contacted Perfect Locks on June 27th, 2018 via phone and e-mail to explain the problem, and they requested I return the 4 packs of hair extensions so they could examine them to see what went wrong. I returned the extensions to Perfect Locks on 7/2/2018 using the shipping label they provided me. In the meantime, I had to purchase new hair extensions from my previous local supplier, and install new hair extensions on my client which cost me $325 for the new hair extensions and $200 for my labor, all of which I had to comp the client. A representative with Perfect Locks contacted me via phone on July 12th, 2018 and told me that upon their examination of the hair I had returned to them, they had concurred that they had sent me an old batch of hair and would resend me 3 new packs of hair and only refund me for the 1 unused and unopened pack of hair. I told them that I would not accept their offer since I had already lost $525 for my labor and the purchase of new hair extensions to fix the problem they had caused. I explained that I expected a full refund for the defective hair extensions that I had returned to them and the membership fee. The representative then told me she would discuss the issue with her manager and get back to me. I have not heard back from them and I am now in the process of trying to complete a charge-back...
