I went today to buy a new tv. Had a sales man come help my wife and I out and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. But when we found the tv that seam to be right for us, plus it was an out of box sale. Seam even better. The sales man said they must have labeled it wrong that price was not right and thereās nothing he could do. We said we understand could we talk to a manager he yes definitely he understands how we felt at this point. So when (Samaria) who said she is the manager came, she saw not only was the price wrongly labeled. They labeled the Energy paper on the tv wrong too! Plus the sticker they put on the back of the tv that says what is wrong with the tv was labeled wrong as well! (Samaria) the manager never apologized or acknowledged that they were in the wrong. Instead said She said thereās nothing she can do very rudely and ripped off everything that was wrong and said fix do you want it now! Wow is all we could think of at this point! We still needed and wanted a tv just blown away by how unprofessional (Samaria) the manager was! At this point we ask for another manager above her and she said you can. On your way out my store! We was blown away again with her attitude. So I said what? She said it on the wall out the door! I ask can you show us where? She said no! Wow again! So we went to the front desk to ask the guy if she is even a manager at all and if there was anyone else there about her to show how she treats her customers. The guy at the front was very nice said sorry yes she is a manager and no one else was there above her. So ask where this picture of the person above her is? (Samaria) this manger stops him from talking to us and tells him he better not show us this picture of the manger above her! Wow again. At this point we feel so disrespected and embarrass that we was going to leave. But wait (Samaria) this manger tills me that she will get a Restraining order against me! I thought for a second that we will just leave but, we as paying customers and as customers that never got angry or mad or any bad words or done anything wrong decided to tell her if that the policy then please do what needs to be done and letās have this document. So she put a restraining order on me because she can! After Apple confirmed that my repaired MacBook Pro had been returned to this store, they even called the Warner Robins location directly on my behalf to verify that the device was available for pickup. Based on that confirmation, I drove 30 minutes to get there ā which I had to do because you canāt call the local store directly anymore; all calls are routed to a national center. When I arrived, a young lady at Geek Squad explained that their scanners were down, so no repaired devices could be released at the moment. She was polite and helpful. But when I asked to speak to a manager to find an alternative solution, I was met by Jason, the store manager ā and the tone changed immediately. Jason wouldnāt let me finish a sentence. He cut me off and told me, āIāve already had to explain this to 15 people before you, and Iām not going to waste time going through it again.ā I calmly explained that my situation was different ā that Apple had confirmed pickup with this exact store ā but he was rude, dismissive, and flatly refused to provide the regional managerās contact when I asked to escalate the issue. He told me Iād only be dealing with him, no one else. Rather than leading with professionalism or offering solutions, Jason made things worse. Ironically, if he had simply contacted Apple earlier in the day and requested they pause sending pickup notifications until the store was ready, he couldāve avoided frustrating the 15 customers he admitted to turning away ā and this entire incident. Even more disturbing: after I purchased a new MacBook (which Best Buy support had suggested as a temporary workaround), I was later approached by the police, who informed me that Jason had called to report me for trespassing ā despite the fact that I had never been asked to leave, was calm the entire time, and had just made a purchase. The responding officer was respectful and confirmed that I had not done anything wrong. But being removed from the store publicly in front of other patrons in my own community was humiliating and completely unjustified. Jasonās inability to de-escalate situations, unwillingness to listen, and poor problem-solving are not the qualities you want in someone leading a retail store. He turned a normal customer service issue into a police incident ā and retaliated because I filed a formal complaint. I sincerely hope Best Buy Corporate investigates this properly. The āmanagerā James if you can even call him that had some of the worst customer service I have ever come by. He was rude, unhelpful, and argumentative. On top of that he did nothing to help his staff which was running around trying to take care of the customers that were in the store. The only help I got was from a wonderful women named Roselinda who was helpful and apologetic of her supervisors behavior and my awful experience. I went in to purchase 2 iPhones that they had in store was told the mobile department person wasnāt in today and that if I wanted to order the phones I could place the order online to pick up in store within an hour. I was a little bit perplexed that I couldnāt just be helped right then but we said okay and went to lunch and planned on coming back. We placed the online order received the email confirmation and went back about 45 minutes later to walk around the store while the order was fulfilled. 2.5 hours later we still have no phones and no one can explain why our order isnāt ready yet. My husband goes to speak to James again and is told sometimes it takes 2 days to complete an order even though he was the one who told me to place the online order to pick up today. At this point Iām completely frustrated, tired and annoyed. We speak with someone on the corporate end and they verify that my order has been received, the store has the product and that it should be completed shortly. We also spoke to Roselinda who called someone on her end and verified that our order should be pushed through and hopefully be fulfilled within the hour. Another hour passes, I ask for an update and an associate finds my phones and says the computer just needs to update and I should be good to go. Then I receive an email that part of my order is complete. Iām super confused and extremely disappointed with the service Iāve received and then it gets worse. James is brought back in to look into my order and Iām told that it is being denied on the carriers end and that he canāt release the phones to me. I got on the phone with AT&T they said there isnāt anything on their end holding me up. I ended up canceling my order through Best Buy and purchased the phones with AT&T.
