My first EVER experience with ulta salon was not very good. I had an appointment to get blonde and copper highlights. The girl who did my hair was great and we had great conversation. But mistakes were made. For some reason she bleached my roots blonde in the assumption that I wanted all of my hair blonde. She did not ask or verify… but the appt even said highlights. Once she realized her mistake and that I only wanted highlights after saying it 50 times, it was too late. I had almost 3 inches of bleached and fried roots. The toner did not affect it. She tried to apply some brown highlights to even it out but it didn’t make much of a difference. At this point my hair was patchy with multiple colors and I looked like a calico cat. I was at the salon from one in the afternoon until after 9 o’clock at night after it closed and my hair was unable to be fixed. She cut my bangs and those ended up looking terrible. I left there looking CRAZY. Ulta did not charge me for the service and sent me to another Ulta salon at a different location to fix my hair for free. At the appointment to fix my hair, she pretty much went in and added a bunch of brown to my hair, as that was the only thing that would cover my roots. It looks like a full hair dye job and not highlights. She tried to fix my bangs but could not without cutting more hair and making it short. She said my roots were very fried and damaged and she couldn’t give me the highlights that I came in for at this time and I had to wait. Although they got rid of my “hot roots”, my hair was still fried and turned to a color I did not want or ask for in order to fix their mistake. I am very unhappy because I came to ulta in the hopes to continue highlights I normally get, but instead sat in a chair all day to have my roots bleached and damaged, had to go back in later to fix it, was left with a color I did not want and STILL did not get the service I came in for. I honestly went into ulta completely wasting 2 days of my time and came out with nothing I actually wanted. After following up to see if I could come back for the service I actually booked once my hair got healthier from THEIR mistake and bleach job, I was blatantly ignored. I just wanted the service I came in for but instead wasted TWO WHOLE days damaging my hair. I was happy they were fixing my hair free of charge and thought they would fix it to give me what I wanted.. nope. All they did was enough to fix their screw up then sent me on my way. Thanks for fixing your screw up and wasting my time and still not giving me what I came in for.. I do NOT...
Read moreSo the is the second time ULTA ruined my Hair. The first time I wanted Lavender hair and it turned into dark purple. Then they wore going to charge me to fix it. They ended up giving me a gift card because they wouldn't refund my money! (like I would ever want to go there again and have that stylist try to fix it) This was at the Chesterfield Location. Then I went to The Warren Location. they got my hair back to blond but that damage to my hair was heart braking It was so bad that I had to get a Pixie cute because it looked so unhealthy!!!!!!! Well I really like the girl Melissa who fix my hair to the Troll purple to a cute blond pixie cute. So I only made appointments with her to get my hair back to a healthy state. However, This last time I made an to see her. When I got there a new person I never seen before told me that Mellissa had a meeting and she would be doing my hair. At first I wasn't sure but the new stylist told me that she knew about my history and she would take good care of me. I asked for a golden blond Ambre and when she was done it looked like the top of my hair was red/orange and the bottom was blond. To say I was mad is an understatement!!! My hair was finally at a good length and was actually getting healthy again. now, for them to fix it AGAIN it would lead to more damage to my hair. I got an appointment with Mellissa The next day and the whole time she was giving me attitude saying that it really wasn't that bad. ("Not that bad" There wore patches of blond because the red didn't take to my hair!!!) I just left I WILL NEVER be going back there again. My husband told me to get my money back but they would only give me a gift card like last time and I am not risking it again!!!! I DO NOT WANT THIS TO EVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE!!! So please do not go here!!!! JCPenny Solon is Way better and it is a little cheaper then this place! In Total I spend over 400-500 just to get my hair back to the way it was!!! DO NOT...
Read moreI recently had an unfortunate experience with a cashier named Robin at Ulta, and I felt compelled to share my feedback. My interaction with Robin left much to be desired, and I was deeply disappointed with the level of service I received.
During my visit, Robin appeared to be in a rush while ringing me up. She seemed disinterested and made no effort to engage with me as a customer. I had several questions about a product, and when I asked her for assistance, she was unhelpful and dismissive. Robin claimed to have used the product herself but provided information that I later discovered to be inaccurate. It was clear that she lacked the necessary product knowledge.
Moreover, my experience with Robin led me to believe that she displayed behavior that I would describe as rude and unprofessional. Her lack of courtesy and apparent disinterest in assisting customers was both disappointing and frustrating.
In addition to the issues with her customer service, I also felt that Robin's behavior seemed to be discriminatory. While I hope that my perception was incorrect, her actions left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. It is crucial for businesses to foster an environment that is inclusive and respectful to all customers.
Overall, my experience with Robin has left me with a negative impression of Ulta. As a customer, I value knowledgeable and courteous service. My encounter with Robin did not meet these expectations, and I believe it is essential for Ulta to address these concerns to maintain customer trust and...
