El West is my little secret to find a great Halloween costume, they have a lot of unexpected and creative pieces, most of them hand made or altered by Charlie, who makes a lot of the cool but inexpensive jewelry too. I just stopped by this place since it was a little chilly outside. The proprietor, Charlie, could not have been nicer. I quickly found a jacket and he rung me up with a discount when I told him this was my old neighborhood. I used to live in 16 Street Heights and went to school at Sacred Heart in Mount Pleasant. Bought my western boots there in a pinch. Needed them to dance on a float that day during Capitol Pride and was in and out in no time. The lady was so helpful and friendly and didn't break the bank.
