Doobie District Marijuana Weed Dispensary DC — Attraction in Washington

$500 wasted on 2 oz that didnt last 2 weeks.. I'm keep it real with this review..

Feb 19th, 2024 I drove up to Doobie District March 3rd, 2024 I'm out of bud

I knew exactly what I wanted before I got there.

Oz Sour Disel = $240 Oz Gorilla Glue= $240 = $480 (I had to ask for a discount). Woman only took $10 off of each Oz, so I paid $460 + gas driving

They sell oz by the 1/8. So you get the oz in packs (8packs per oz). Both were 30 per .8th (8*30=240)

They dont even weigh bud in front of you. You have no way of knowing if you got 28g. You gotta go home and weigh packs individually or dump everything out. They gave me 2oz in 16 packs.

And because they sell by the packs. You dont know how long that bud has been in a pack. Bud actually loses potency the longer its sealed up in those packs.

The Sour Diesel was pumping at 1st. But by the 3rd-4 day it was blowing like low end Mid. And by the 2nd week. It just tasted and blew like a totally different bud. Oz Sour Disel only last me 8 days.

And to make matters worst. I know their Gorilla Glue is cbd/hemp sprayed with Delta 8. Its supposed to be 31% thc, but the Diesel smoked better and it has a much lower THC %.. Gorilla Glue is like an OG strain that one hitter quitter. This is not it. On everything I love I was rolling 3 back to back. 7-9 blunts a day on the Gorilla and totally unaffected. I even let me people try it and they say the same thing.

I know I'm not crazy because Doobie District even dropped the price on it. That same Gorilla glue is now $20 per 1/8 or $160 per oz before any discount. Thats on their website as of March 4th 2024. But I paid $30 per 8th/$230 with the $10 off.. I could've saved $80... why would they lower a premium brand if nothing is wrong with it. I didnt get high at all off that gorilla. No munchies, no high, didnt pass out. It was like smoking reggie that just tasted good. So glad I only got just 1 oz of the glue. If I would've bought 2 oz, That would've been 460 for something they selling now for $320 and I could've got for $300 if they gave me the same $20 discount

Also if you buying ounces you dont need 16 packs. Just give me 2 bags.

And far as bud being sprayed. You can tell if its sticky or too coated one side. The Gorilla glue had a sandy/tan color. But then a few lacked the consistency in color/coating. Like they didnt get both sides while spraying

This whole experience has made me quit smoking. Bud was better early 2000s. This isnt it folks. I'm a honest black man. I'm also a Veteran. If you grew up near the hood, the trap, projects, and you looking for that official and dont want to be taxed on fake bud which is really cbd/hemp sprayed you going have to go somewhere else. This ain't it..

Also it was like they was scared to show you bud. The bud isnt even displayed when you walk into the shop. And you actually gotta request to sniff a sample of what you buying. I want to see the bud before I buy .

Anyways I'm done with the rant. Look up videos on YouTube about sprayed cbd/hemp. There's like 3 short videos where the guy takes bud out of freezer after putting crushed up D8 then uses a heat gun. One guy just sprays pounds.. it's a dirty game folks you been warned.and for doobie district. I'm not looking for anything. I know you got a BS reply. I'm just warning everyone with the truth.

Update MARCH 5TH 12PM .. I just got off the phone with manager. You wont believe the conversation. He doesnt give a crap if you like the bud or not. Imagine telling someone who just spent $500 on product that he could go somewhere else. He didn't welcome constructive criticism.

I told him directly on the phone he is selling fake bud. Its cbd/hemp sprayed. He didnt he refute my Allegations or challenge it. Simply told me I can go somewhere else and shop...

At this point. He's overtaking me & not caring. I told he's scamming folks. Told him the gorilla glue isnt authentic and how you got to buy an oz in packs. Knowing good and well those packs arent 3.5 they short you on the packs... this man only cares...

The product itself is not bad; however, the customer service is highly questionable. Earlier this evening I went your dispensary to pick up an online order, and the female clerk asked me for last name (keep in mind that I gave her my I.D.) Subsequently she typed my LAST name into her PO.S. database; only to tell me, afterwards, that she didn't see my LAST name for an online order pick-up. Then she proceeded to ask me if I could show her my online order through my email, which made me more suspicious. Nevertheless, I pulled out my phone to retrieve my e-ticket in my inbox. Meanwhile the same female clerk walked towards the door behind her, to ask her co-worker if my name is in the system. The guy who came out of the door asked me for my "first" name and that's when the female clerk flip-flopped her words, saying that I never provided my first name, despite the fact that she initially asked for my LAST name and I.D. She was disingenuous and took no accountability for her miscommunication. Finally, I received and paid for my order and attempted to walk out of the store. There was a patron outside of the entrance door, informing me that he'll hold the door while I'm walking out. Suddenly, the female clerk and guy from the back room decided to call me out in front of everybody, for allegedly inviting an anonymous customer, from outside. No accountability of their own lack of awareness, plus a false allegation of me inviting an outside patron without permission of their doorman , are the main reasons why I will no longer spend my hard-earned money at this place again. Luckily, I'm older and wiser; therefore, it's no effort for me to keep it moving. I'm not from the "DMV" so I could care less. At the same time, if this transpired ten years ago, my younger self would have probably approached this situation differently. And I'll leave...

I was Visiting family & friends this past June 2024 for my birthday. A Oz of Sour Diesel was on sale $100 in June.. however the same Oz was $240 in February 2024, I know because I visited there during the time to see family. Diesel for $100 is not official. It's cbd/hemp sprayed with Delta 8. Look on YouTube cbd/hemp sprayed with D8.. It's a distillate, they also add terps.. The shop owner will deny this.. but I know it's true. They show the whole hustle on youtube.. We got hustled. Don't waste your money or energy on this.. smoking bud is lame now.. nothing is official here, always check the negative views first..

Edit: Notice the owner said this was a competitor review. it's not.. they also sale 1/8 of Disel for $30... go buy it and post your review. Look at the multiple negative reviews about their exotics... Gorilla Glue and Sour Diesel here is not authentic. And they charging 60-70 for some of their 1/8

They don't even weigh bud in front of you. And if you buy multiple strains, they'll even put an off brand in one of bags... You don't even see them bagging up the bud. So you're at a disadvantage. Don't see the bud, or weigh the bud in front of you, and then it's cbd/hemp sprayed. You won't get high. They easily can buy 4-7 pounds of cbd/hemp for a thousand or less and spray it with D8... making that Oz Cosy less than 10 bucks.. they making a fortune selling fake weed.. go on youtube the...
