Kennedy Glass is THE BEST!

Mirrors in two of our bathrooms were improperly installed by the builder of our condo, resulting in multiple, large black rings appearing on the surfaces of the mirrors. We called Kennedy Glass (which had been highly recommended by a neighbor) to help us understand the problem & plan to fix it. Iwis, one of the fabulous glass technicians, came to our apartment & immediately recognized that the mirrors had not been glued properly & would need to be replaced.

Once measurements were taken, we approved the estimate & new mirrors were ordered. The mirrors were delivered directly to Kennedy Glass (so we didn't have to worry about storing them in our apartment). Iwis & his partner, Alex, returned to complete the replacement process.

The two men were FANTASTIC! They arrived promptly, then quickly set to work, expertly removing the damaged mirrors (without leaving a mess!), then installing the new ones. Before installing the replacement mirrors they showed us exactly where the old ones had been improperly glued & encouraged us to take photos so that we could talk about these issues directly with the builder.

Throughout the process, Alex & Iwis were terrific: smart, skilled, polite, & friendly. The men worked as an efficient team. They quickly cleaned up the small amount of dust that accumulated from the mirror removal as well as any debris from the installation of the new mirrors. They gave us specific information about how to care for the new mirrors so that there were no unanswered questions following their skillful installation.

I highly recommend using these guys for window repair jobs. They were responsive, professional, and did a job for me with no drama and for less money than another company wanted.

A bird crashed into an upstairs bedroom window of ours a while back, significantly cracking the exterior pane on the upper sash of our Pella window. I also had some minor repair work that needed done on the exterior, plastic trim. One repairman from another glass company told me Pella makes its windows such that even a simple glass crack requires intensive and expensive repair or replacement of the entire upper sash. He ultimately stopped responding to my queries. Pella wanted more than $1,300 to replace the sash.

The guys from Kennedy fixed it for about half that, all told, and threw in the minor exterior work free of charge. Like the first repairman who came out, they were up front about the challenges of replacing Pella windows. But they took the whole sash out, boarded it up temporarily, and Alex returned a few weeks later and popped in the repaired unit. It looks like nothing ever happened.
