Natural Grocers — Attraction in Washington

who can afford this store anymore? After the worldwide grocery hike, Natural Grovers decided to hit us with 1.5X price jump to match the billionaires from Cali that have rolled in. $10 for a jar of sauce? over $5.00 a lbs for broccoli? Go across the street and get it at Albertsons. I always looked forward to their "biggest sale of the year" that just happened and this year it was a great disappointment with nearly nothing of any value on sale. I had a laugh walking down the isles. $5.00 for an Endangered species chocolate bar they used to have on sale for $1.99, no more sales on ZUM laundry detergent. Such a let down. Stop giving us free grocery bags and give us coupons that we dont have to "earn" by playing bingo and spending a ridiculous amount of money. No one wants to have to add coupons into the app. I have the app, I have a NG phone number, that should be enough to get the sale price. I dont need homework. I'll be phasing NG...

Terrible experience every time I go in. As a natural foods store you would think that they would take into consideration people’s health concerns and not force a muzzle on your face as it’s harmful to your immune system. The man that is stationed by the door is extremely rude and will literally chase you and harass you into putting a mask on, even if you have a note from your doctor with your health issue on it, they have zero regard for you and make it a point to be disrespectful. The least they could do is offer curbside service. The mask mandate is just that, it’s not a law. And is only enforced by the owners. The only thing required is a sign suggesting the mask. As an American it is my right to stand up for myself and it makes my day when I see others...

I usually love this place and get treated with courtesy, but Sunday 3/18 , I was disrespected very badly by the young woman with the nose ring at the check out stand. I can only assume she saw my veteran's hat and age/gender/race and sized me up as a "Trump guy" [I'm a life long progressive]. I suppose she began her passive-aggressive "resistance" on me by ignoring my hello and big smile and turning her back to me and having a long conversation with her co-worker about work shifts and gossip etc. After I paid and was leaving she made a sarcastic comment. I know from years of experience with Natural Grocers this type of behavior is unacceptable. I went to Dixie Nutrition the next day, where everyone was very nice. I will be their loyal customer...
