This was a great little hotel in Saint George Utah. We stayed only one night and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We were in the suite with 3 beds and that was plenty for a family of 5. The AC worked great and beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a nice assortment of complementary soaps and lotions that my daughters enjoyed. The only downside of the room was that the walls didn't seem very insulated as I could hear several load cars driving by in the middle of the night. But I'm also a light sleeper so nobody else had that issue. Customer service was good. When I called previously they were super friendly and nice. When we arrived around 9:30pm in the evening the desk person was ok. Not overly friendly and didn't initially acknowledge us as she was doing something on the computer. She wasn't rude but we definitely have had more welcoming service at other places when we walk in with a tired family. The morning guy was slightly better when we checked out. Again still 4 stars just not the best. And the other disappointment was the breakfast. Most places we stay have a 6:00am breakfast for those getting a early start to there day. We'll this one starts at 7:00pm on Saturday. I wish that was mentioned when I called for details and they said breakfast was at 6am and they saw I was reserving for only one night and would only be there for a Saturday breakfast. We were leaving early to drive to Kannarvile Falls to do a hike and we're gonna grab breakfast and do our hike but unfortunately it wasn't open. Lucky a McDonald's was open down the street, but it did cost me $30 I wasn't planning on since they told me they had a 6am breakfast. So I can't really review the breakfast, but I would recommend confirming breakfast times. And last, the location is great. Seems like a nice neighborhood. We felt very safe. Also several gas stations, and fast food places nearby. And it's very close to freeway for those that are just passing through. So overall a great experience, we would use this place again but we're just disappointed that we didn't get accurate information on the breakfast.

Well folks, those that know me know I much prefer writing reviews that are positive, as I don’t believe a lot of people take the time to write positive reviews only negative ones..however in this case I felt I needed to share my experience…from the second I walked in, I was met with not that pleasant of an experience visually, the waiting room was small, carpet stained, and just an u comfortable vibe. That being said, I got this hotel for roughly $65/night and in comparison, I couldn’t complain too loud. That being salad, I got my keys and made my way to the room. In my way up to my floor, I noticed the elevator walls needing serious rehab, with markings and stains on the plex glass protecting the pictures. There was a very uncomfortable. Getting off on my floor, musky smell lingering throughout the hall. The carpet was stained, an the walls were damaged on every corner of every room entrance. Entering the room, same vibe, but a much worse, muskier smell. I laid on one of the beds and it was difficult to tell the difference between laying on tile with a 1” mattress pad, and this bed. Hardest bed to date that I have slept on in any budget hotel to date. Woke up with a sore back which hasn’t happened in years. Moving onto the breakfast…yep, takes the cake (pun intended) for the worst continental breakfast I’ve also had to date. Things weren’t properly refilled, the waffle makers (both of them) overcooked the waffles enough to make note of it. The front desk staff were all great to work with though, so this is also worth noting. Look guys, in the end, you can pay under $70 and get this, or pay $130 for a best western. So what’s in your budget. I did this as we needed something quick and were right around the corner anyway. I am giving 3-stars as I sort of knew to expect less, for less. Not the worst I suppose, but this hotel chain needs to MAJORLY remodel this hotel. At the very least, a deep carpet and room cleaning. While they’re at it they need to spend $40 more per bed and get better beds.

A pleasant way to finish a long day's journey north. Location although at north end of the town is terrific, REGISTRATION was friendly, quick and easy (it always helps to pre-book your reservations) and the room was well maintained for such a much-frequented facility. This is a well-travelled suite but clean, large and open and fairly up-to-date. The lamp bases all have much-needed power outlets and USB ports Bathroom was a bit dated but had a useful hand rail for the tub/shower and pleasant toiletries. Bedding was firm, clean and providing a very comfortable sleep. There was a problem with the HVAC unit and the wall control but a call to the front desk and the young lady was there promptly to reset the wall unit. The additional problem with the HVAC unit was only one fan speed and it was very noisy (for us light sleepers...even with earplugs...). Breakfast was the usual standard continental.

The staff here are so confused and need to get on the same page. 4/7/18 we called the front desk to ensure our rooms would be cleaned while we were out at my brother's wedding for the next few hours. We were assured it would be. However, when we returned, the room had not been cleaned. The front desk said they didn't know what had happened, but would send someone up to clean while we were in there. Weird.

The worst incident was being blatantly lied to, causing increased medical pain. I'm considering contacting a disability discrimination lawyer. What with all the wedding festivities, we must plan everything out meticulously. 4/6 I call down to the front desk to ask what the pool hours were. He said the pool was closed. I asked him again what the pool hours were. He said he would check. When he returned, I was informed it closed at 11 and we could get back in at 9 am. I confirmed the pool hours were 9 am to 11 pm with him and then planned accordingly. As soon as we returned from the reception the next day, it was almost 10:00 pm. I needed to get my back in a pool, as this is the only place I can really move around and loosen it up. We (my younger cousins and I) were also planning on swimming for about an hour, as this was the last time we would see each other for quite some time (years). Everyone was patient with me (handicapped) as I slowly made my way up to the 4th floor. We changed into our suits and went down to the pool just after 10. The key didn't open the door to the pool. We went to the front desk to inquire why and were told they could no longer let people in the pool after 10, as they were getting in trouble for doing it before. When I asked why I had been told otherwise or why a mere few minutes mattered, the girl didn't have an answer for me. I asked if she might know the gentleman's name from the previous night. She said yes. ...I asked if I could have it and she said no, she didn't want him to get in trouble. I immediately sensed a change in her attitude and I replied I was sure the manager could figure out who it was that lied to me since she would not assist me in any way. They ruined what little time I had left with my cousins with this lie and the girl working the desk on 4/7 refused to make it right or even treat us with respect once she found out I wanted the lying young man's name. All this over a few minutes. The minutes I took hobbling to my 4th floor room with my cane. I haven't even gotten to see my little brothers for so long and was so excited to swim with them (I can actually MOVE in a pool and needed that exercise for my arachnoiditis). We left unhappy with the way the situation was handled. Their guests are definitely not put first and the staff lacks basic communication skills. And now my back is killing me. It's going to be a hell of a drive back to Salt Lake and an even worse flight back to DC now. If only I had been able to loosen my back up in that pool. If I had originally been told they closed at 10, I would have left the reception a bit earlier so I could have get my back well. So let me get this straight. if I hadn't had my handicap, I would have made it to the pool by 10 and our plan would have gone according to schedule. Why aren't they putting handicapped people on the...

The place is Filthy. The Door to the room is supposed to be “White” it’s smeared with dirt and grime just like the door to the “Filthy” bathroom in the room. A sign says all areas are sanitized for convenience for all areas that get touched. A Door is an Area that NEEDS TO BE CLEANED! The Door to our room also couldn't open correctly. You use the Key Card and "Sometimes it opens, most time it doesn't." As well as loose handle that shouldn’t be that way. The door to the room is hard to open it gets stuck, I asked 2 housekeepers for help the next morning. They tried and said maybe pull up on the handle while jamming your body to open the door. They agreed the locks don't work well but keep trying. So, I got angry and went to the Front Desk. Before I got there, I saw the "maintenance man" and he tried it..then sometimes the door opened but you also had to run into the door to unstick it? He said, just do that....I said, NO, Unacceptable! I went to the Front Desk and a Lady and looks like male Owner was there and said what's the problem. I told them, I'm not asking for much, just a Door that works with the key card, maybe the batteries need to be replaced, I'm not the maintenance person, they need to FIX IT NOW because I was staying 3 Nights!!! ||When I came back that evening, the door "Magically" got fixed and both the key card and door were able to open like a Normal Hotel! The handle was also “Magically” tightened so you can open the door. Why did I have to jump through hoops with 5 Different People and raise my voice to get the simplest thing like your door being able to get in and out. If there was a fire, and people were stuck, there would be a lawsuit. Both the Maintenance guy and two Cleaning Ladies said most doors were like that. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! The Fire Marshall and Choice Hotels International need to be contacted.||On another note, in a two bedroom, my bed ONLY had springs, it was beyond worn out but didn’t want to try telling someone when they obviously go into all the rooms and know. I had 3 Nights of a Horrible Sleep, my body ached from the subpar Motel 6 Roadside hotel fiasco!||The Floors have “MANY” stains too that the housekeeper, manager and owner all know because this Hotel is ran by “Slum Lord” mentality. ||The only saving grace was the wonderful hot Breakfast that was served daily. The lady running that portion kept everything tidy and fully stocked. Thank You!||||** Update: 9/5/25, Was in contact with Grace Hunt and she wanted to give 500 Reward Points = $500 she said Graciously! The truth is the Choice Hotels Rewards Program is 10 Points for every $1, so that would be $50. Nice to know you are lied to even to make themselves feel better!...
