Fast food is sometimes considered a choice of convenience but in this particular case was highly inconvenient. Went to Del taco on a Saturday afternoon to find out that the lobby is closed. Pretty silly when it’s 109° outside and what are you expected to do eat in your car which is probably 115°. So I decided to go through the drive-through why the attendant was speaking over us why we were placing our order and messed up our order included. we finally had to stop him and start over but when he read back our order it sounded like there was a mistake. We meandered our way to the drive-through and saw some tables outside. Thought to ourselves that could be a possible place to eat but with the sun shining on the surface temperature was probably 125° close to the surface of the sun. We arrived at the drive-through window to find out that he had messed up our order. He did give us the extra items at no charge because they had already been made chips and guacamole had already been made OK. As he dump the change receipt and bills piled in my hand with no regards to Counting it back handing me the bags of food at the same time I just literally threw the money and the change on the floor what am I supposed to do with it. Took the bags and went on my way. Ended up eating at In-N-Out Burger on the tables that they had in the shade. Not surprised I opened the bag no sauce no ketchup 2 lowly napkins for a meal for two. It seems to me that heat stroke must be less of a peril than the coronavirus. We should’ve got it in and out because they were letting people in their lobby to sit down and eat. Won’t be going back for a while. Also my tortillas were so stale they were...
Read moreI worked way late, and I only had a few choices for quick food near Leeds at 1am. I now wish I went to Alvardos Mexican Resturant next to the mall. When I pulled up and began to order the girl on the head set interrupted me to inform me that the fryer was down for cleaning, as was the ice cream, and the shake machines! Ok fair enough until you look at the menu, almost everything has fried food inside, or that comes with it on the side. Unable to back out because a line was developing, and knowing at least one person was ahead of me the exit was blocked, stuck I went ahead and ordered. No i did not get what i wanted; i ordered 2 macho combo burritos with extra cheese, and 2 carne asada breakfast burritos with extra cheese. Now the frier was down so no sides, fries, hashbrowns nothing. But the little girl on the headset charged me for 4 meals. No didn't get 4 sodas I did get 1 large drink but I paid for that. The people running this resturant at night are idiots! Why on earth would you break down your most used appliance between the hours of 12, and 3am! Then charge people for food you cant serve. I'm not impressed at all. I will never eat at this establishment again, and I want my damn 10 dollars I over paid back crazy 18 dollars for 4 burritos that sucked, and were cold! I didn't get extra cheese on a single item. How do you mess up an order of 4 burritos!? #donttakearocketscientisttoworkatdeltaco...
Read moreIn a sea of soggy napkins and questionable drive-thrus, we enjoy Dell Taco. First off, let’s talk crinkle fries — because who knew a taco place could throw down with fries better than some burger joints? And yes, I said tacos and fries in the same sentence.
The food? Solid. Tacos, burritos, even a burger if you’re feeling rebellious. The ingredients taste fresh, not like they were left behind in the backseat of a delivery truck out in this St Georgeheat. Ofcorse they have soda along with seating options — outdoor tables and a glass-enclosed kids play area with climbing tubes (a dream for little ones, If you decide to eat in there - bring earplugs. 😁
The staff? Genuinely helpful and friendly. One even walked me through the app like I was tech royalty. The place stays busy, but never packed like a sardine can, and it’s usually pretty clean. Can’t speak for the bathroom — it’s still a mystery, like Bigfoot or where socks go after going through a round of laundry.
All in all, one of our favorite go-to spots for lunch or dinner. It’s fast food, but with enough charm and crunch to keep us coming back — mostly for...
