A decent place that I frequent weekly. Today, however, something of note happened. Their Jambalaya contained kielbasa, rather than the traditional andouille sausage, which surprised and disappointed me. I selected my sides based on the spice and flavor of andouille sausage, not the bland fatty taste of kielbasa; and not even some unique kielbasa, but the unmistakable taste of Hilshire Farm's Polska Kielbasa. The Chicken Cordon Bleu lacked cheese (or if it contained cheese, lacked it in a quantity to make it visable or experienced.) as a result, it was also dry. I arrived ahead of the lunch rush, so I assume it was as fresh as possible. Update: 04/30/24 - Gave the Chicken Cordon Bleu another try, because the bright buffet light made it look like there was (glossy) cheese this time. Nope. Still cheeseless and dry.

Nice find in the area. Highly recommend if trying to find a place with good value for the quality and with a wide variety of selections. Deli station, Mongolian grill, sushi, build-your-own-bowl, and a goodix of hot/cold/salad bar that charges by the weight. Everything was fresh and clean. Plenty of indoor seating. Wish we found this place sooner during our stay in DC!

I love their Mongolian stir fry 🤤 The staff are very polite and easy to communicate with. This place is located right next to my work, I have gotten many lunches here & love it! They offer a variety of options such as fresh stir fry, snacks, drinks, sandwiches and building your own lunch plates priced by the weight of the food. 🄘 I’ll definitely be visiting again!

I really used to like eating lunch here. I worked not too far away and would rush over to get their bowls (shrimp and/or chicken with avocado and this really tasty sauce). I visited after leaving the area for about two years. I raved about the place to my husband, just to get accused of stealing food while we were there. The issue was that my husband had purchased food from a food truck. We showed the cashier the food truck item before checking out because we didn’t want any issues (this was not a type of food sold in Soho). It was an awful and awkward situation and the management would not speak to me, but suddenly learned how to speak when my husband approached them to ask why they kept pointing at us. There were definitely language barriers, but it was handled so poorly. As we were leaving, we were told ā€œyou don’t have to go.ā€ Who would want to stay in a restaurant that accuses them of stealing? The bowls had changed, by the way, so it was a waste of our time. I felt terrible taking my husband through that experience. On the positive side, I do believe there are other Soho locations or related restaurants. I hope that I can find the quality I used to...

I come to this cafe very often. almost everyday and spend over 20.00 every time I'm there. The lady making sandwiches today was very rude. She was extremely nice to the Caucasian man and lady but when taking my order she was rude and you can tell she didn't even want to take my order. I ordered a steak n cheese, she proceeded to give me chicken instead. I told her immediately that I asked for a steak and cheese, and she raised her voice and said you said chicken! She then said fine I make steak and cheese. After she continued to cook the chicken two other customers came in and she immediately took their order, give the chicken sandwich to another employee and told me that she would make my order AFTER she help the two customers order. I then told her never mind I will go some place else. I felt racially profiled and this is extremely unacceptable. If I have to write a review everyday and I will but this lady needs be held accountable for her actions. This is not the first time and I am not the only person she has treated this way. This is very bad...

The employee at the cash register is always so rude. My friend was looking at the sauces before looking around and she said you can’t get those you need to leave. My friend was shocked and was like ā€œI can’t look first?ā€ And I stood up for her and was like ā€œshe’s gonna look around. You didn’t give her a chance.ā€ She made her leave. I regret spending my money there that day because it seemed like a race issue as my friend is Black and I’m not. But I can’t prove that so ok — a bad interaction. On another day, I forgot to put ranch in my salad so I went back inside. The same lady, who works every week day, said it would be 50 cents. I said okay even though i didn’t want to. I get to the register and it’s 75 cents. She said very rudely ā€œI made mistake. It’s 75 cents.ā€ I insisted ā€œbut you said 50.ā€ You can see where this is going. I paid 75 cents plus tax. I said, ā€œyou’re the worst.ā€ She really is. I hate that I’ve spent so much money there $18-20 per meal. The customer service is just not what I’m used...
