I drive to this place from Lancaster for their meat & daily fresh seasoned botana chicharronesā¦. But decided to pick up a huge aguacate for $4.99 while I was at register only to be charged and IT not placed in bag. Dint realize it WAS MISSING TILL I FINISH RUNNING ERRANDS and GET HOME 5:30P called/drove back to show receipt 6:30P & was addressed to a sign on the wall stating « NOT RESPONSIBLE for SHOPPING BAGS LEFT BEHINDĀ Ā» that as a customer should check bags before leaving premisesā¦. But as a cashier or trained employee if you charge a cust for an item the right thing to do is to bag item along with other purchased items and assure all bags of cust is addressed before starting on the next CX & moving on⦠Iām not upset w the kid(cashier) It was the rude manager and store policy. Why would anyone lie about an item PAID for and not received. Food isnāt cheap and neither was that desired avocado. But to be blamed for employees mistake and being charged for something not RECEIVED is ROBBERY not only on high price but not honoring PAID RECEIPT⦠WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, MONEY & GAS⦠Not to mention unprofessional derogatorily handled RUDE FEMALE MANAGER. But at the end of the day if this how they treat their customers I know them losing 1- client may not effect them ⦠Iām more upset on the experience & the principal of the whole ordeal⦠Never have I ever been treated or addressed like that!!!! We walked in tonight right behind a couple that went straight to the register and placed an order for tacos at 745pm. We took 5 mins to go grab drinks and candy. We made it to the register to pay for our items and place an order for tacos at 750pm, employee Tony then looked back at employee Helen who was working in the kitchen and she shook her head no. They sold us no tacos. Tony claim that the kitchen closed at 730pm. When I asked him why the couple in front of us was sold tacos, he replied that they had been in line. Which line? There was not a customer in the store but us and the couple who walked right before us. So that was obviously a lie. Terrible customer service seems to be an on going problem at this store. If I was the owner I would either put these employees through training or fire them and hire worthy employees before you go out...
