H-E-B — Local services in Waxahachie

So I went with my sister to grab a couple of things from heb . I haven't been in an heb in years im from out of town . (Colorado springs , Co. ) I missed going to heb since they don't have it out there in CO. But I went to check out and a manager named Lisa was super rude and combative . She rang my sister up first and when she rang me up I had a soda on top of the area they have coupons for the customers and I asked if she could ring up my soda since she was done ringing my 6 items and she asked me with a bad attitude if I wanted it rung with the rest of my items . She made it seem like I was bothering her to ring up my soda since she was already done ringing up the rest of my items. I thought I was being curteous waiting for her to do that so I wasnt waving my drink in her face while she was in the middle of ringing up other items . I then said a bad joke every cashier hears to lighten the mood which was , not unless it was free , and instead of easing up she said did it say it was free . I then asked well I was joking but you don't have to get mad and she said I had an attitude which I didn't since im on vacation and was in good spirits . I then asked her to speak to a manager and she said she was a manager which was horrifying to find out cuz she had a horrible attitude. She called over a Mathew and when I spoke to him she continued to yell and get loud as i was speaking to mathew . I honestly don't understand how asking for my soda to be rung up started a whole altercation the way it did . She obviously was projecting which it happens I get it , i was a cashier once upon a time , but what a bad experience to have after 5 years not walking into an H.E.B and seeing all the great prices texas has compared to ours in colorado. I'm so proud to be from Texas and it was very disheartening to have someone jump down my throat for something so small . We all have bad days but we all also work we can't take our days out on people. I work in a hospital you gotta leave it all at home and go and help out the patients or the customers...

I've been coming here for the past few years and while I've had overall good experiences lately I've started to notice a peculiar pattern that's happening to me the last ten or so visits. Pretty much every time I bring a full cart to a lane to checkout the person in front of me gets rung up by the cashier and there's a person bagging groceries up for them to keep things running smoothly. What's peculiar to me is when I get to the line the bagging associate always seems to vanish and I end up having to bag pretty much all of my groceries up. If I have a full cart that can get overwhelming for me(I can imagine that on repeat could be overwhelming for anybody employee or not). Usually I can't keep up with the scanning and so I fall behind and the cashier in an attempt to help will start almost throwing stuff in bags to get my cart finished up. Tonight I bought about five apples and I check them pretty closely when I select them from their display. Great color, smells appealing and no bruises. Well also tonight with my full cart I ended up not being able to keep up with the cashier so yet again and they started slapping things in bags and sliding them my way. I get home(live about 40 minutes from this location it's still the closest) and begin to unpack my groceries and these apples look to have been beaten up by somebody who they owe money. They are bruised beyond what I would describe as reasonable and I'm honestly more than a little disappointed. Mistakes happen but this has started to become a pattern and it's a bummer for sure. Its still a sold grocery store but I feel like if they would just ask me to help bag while they also bag we could get it all together without potentially damaging my or another person's groceries. I have always admired HEB and love shopping at HEB. I have also known that HEB has a reputation for taking customer service seriously, but yesterday I had a frustrating experience with my Curbside order. To make a long story short, some of the items I had purchased were supposedly out of stock and my order was never cancelled even though I called the store to cancel the order completely. To top it off, it turned out that the store did have the items in stock. I am very frustrated because I am having a birthday party for my 3 year old and now I have to wait 24 to 48 hours to get my funds credited back to my bank account. I do not understand why the funds wouldn't be released the moment that the store "supposedly" new that the items were out of stock because I did receive notification early enough in the day to let me know that certain items were not available. I called and spoke to a manager but I was told that it was now an accounting department issue. I understand that some of the things that are technical are out of the control of employees, but what I do not understand is if your curbside people new these items were out of stock why not release the funds for those items at that very moment? I have done curbside with other stores and I am not comparing because everyone works differently but when items are out of stock normally the funds for those items are taken off the amount right away. By the way, I was trying to purchase was 3 vacuum sealed packages of Beef Inside Skirt meat that the STORE DID HAVE IN STOCK. I guess there is lack of communication between the curbside and the departments. Hopefully, I have my $144 in my account by Friday because I am single mom on a budget and now I am $144 out of...
