The Lincoln Tunnel is an approximately 1.5-mile-long (2.4 km) tunnel under the Hudson River, connecting Weehawken, New Jersey, to the west with Midtown Manhattan in New York City to the east. I love NY but leaving it for a little on a daily, weekly or monthly basis is essential. That's another topic. The views of Midtown Manhattan's skyline are captivating once you exit. I take a picture every time. The Lincoln is spacious relative to the Holland Tunnel. For the out of towners, the Holland is another Hudson River crossing located a few miles south of this one.
