I am writing this post to give you a small ferry tour from Manhattan to Battery Park where you can find wonderful areas such as the World Trade Center Memorial and awesome restaurants and malls. If you travel by train all the way to Pennsylvania Station. Exit through 7 Avenue and 34 Street. Make sure you walk all the way to Pier 79. Find the ticket vending machine that goes to Battery Park. The ferry ride takes around 15 minutes and costs $4.50 each way. The ride allows you to take beautiful photos of the gorgeous buildings around the river. Keep in mind that you have to board the ferry on Slip 2. That's the ferry boat that takes you there. By the way Pier 78 and 79 are pretty much the same.

Pier 79 is a great spot to catch the NYC Ferry, especially on the St. George route. The ferry stops at Battery Park and Governors Island, and along the way you get one of the best views of the Statue of Liberty without the crowds. If you want a truly stunning experience, take the 7:00 PM ferry from St. George back to Pier 79 — the sunset views over the skyline and the Statue are incredible. Tickets are very affordable at just $4.50 one way, and the best part is you can use the same ticket for your return ride as long as you board within 2 hours. Super convenient, scenic, and a budget-friendly way to see the city!

DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND TAKE THE NYC FERRY! I saw a TikTok before coming to nyc about a guy recommending to take the ferry and yes absolutely worth it. I took the first one from midtown to battery park and then from dumbo to 34th. Absolutely worth it, the round trip was 9 dollars. The only issue is that you have to pay with card there like at a machine or with the app (I recommend the app) but as I was purchasing the ticket I thought about older folks that maybe would have a difficult time buying them so beware of that.
