I am writing this post to give you a small ferry tour from Manhattan to Battery Park where you can find wonderful areas such as the World Trade Center Memorial and awesome restaurants and malls.
If you travel by train all the way to Pennsylvania Station. Exit through 7 Avenue and 34 Street. Make sure you walk all the way to Pier 79. Find the ticket vending machine that goes to Battery Park. The ferry ride takes around 15 minutes and costs $4.50 each way. The ride allows you to take beautiful photos of the gorgeous buildings around the river.
Keep in mind that you have to board the ferry on Slip 2. That's the ferry boat that takes you there.
