CVS — Attraction in Wells

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with this CVS in Wells, ME. What professionals they are. I had a horrible experience the day before with another pharmacy. Had to call my dr to have a prescription redone and sent to CVS. Please note I am from California. When I contacted the CVS about 10 minutes later they informed me that they had the prescription, asked a few questions to make a profile for me, and then informed me the prescription would be ready within the hour. I cannot tell you how grateful I was for such professionalism, especially after my experience with the one down the street. I had covid and needed the Paxlovid. The other pharmacy lied to me, and never could fill the prescription. CVS just handled it like it was a priority to them. I will always use CVS pharmacies in the future. Worst cvs I've ever been to. They had my prescription all day but it wasn't started until I went in to pick it up in eve. They told me to come back in half an hour and that they were a week behind. I noticed everyone in line was told same which leads me to believe they don't even start to fill a script until you come in to pick it up. Worse yet there is no way you can call in to see if it is ready and speak to a person, you can only leave a message. I left a message asking them to text me with updates but I never got any. A pharmacy that allows needed prescriptions lie unfilled is just dangerous. Too bad they put all the small pharmacies out...

I came to the pharmacy just at 7 pm, with a script from York Hospital urgent care. I was met by technicians closing gates. And while I stated I came from the hospital, I was told I could come back at 9AM. This was the worst customer service I've ever received. I could've stopped at walgreens had I known how cruel the staff would be towards an urgent need for prescription. Obviously they don't care about customer health. I seriously needed a script filled but they happily left the store behind me instead of helping me. Never going to this...
