R&R Chocolate — Attraction in Wells

Our friends from S.C. were staying in Wells and found this Bistro buying a Turkey sandwich and pastrami sandwich. It was so huge (and delicious) they decided to save half for my hubby and me. Best sandwiches ever!!! Today we went there for lunch and ordered the same sandwiches to see if they would be the same? Bill ate all his pastrami but I have my other half for later tonight! I'm still so full that I may have to wait till tomorrow to finish it. We shared a bag of chips and each a bottled root beer that was fizzy and not flat like canned ones. Saying a lot here but this place has so many goodies!!! Everything from wine to chocolate covered berries. I left with 2 butterscotch and one wintergreen stick, a salted carmel candy, a dark chocolate turtle candy , a soft salted carmel chew and a bag of strawberry twist..for $7.81! The menu is delightful, atmosphere peaceful and staff ever so friendly and helpful. R & R Candy is now on our favorite places to eat list!! P/S I am a very fussy eater and usually don't eat anything mixed in other foods but I ate that sandwich with thin apple slices, best lettuce varieties, inches thick with turkey, sliced cheddar cheese and a cranberry mayo dressing to die...

If you want to talk about hidden treasure, this is definitely one to mention. R&R bistro is a combination of a chocolate shop, wine shop, bakery, cafe and sandwich shop. They have an eclectic offering in a quaint little building, tucked away in the Hannaford plaza. They have a small but tremendous sandwich and salad menu that’s better than most in the area. With a clean kitchen and cozy seating area makes this a good spot for takeout and dine in. I frequent the place, especially for the chocolates, the Captain Jack Italian sandwich (A+ choice), and sometimes the Caprese sandwich. Outside of the retail wine selections, these guys also offer a variety of beverages and flavored coffee drinks. Service is very good, not the fastest but they produce good products so that’s a non-issue. This place is a home run for the area. Not a lot of people know about it....

This is the best chocolate maker in town. The evil potato chip is my go to. The have the Best cannolis outside of Boston .I was very blessed to find this place they have what is called a cannoli bar. You can have three different types of filling from chocolate ganache, pistachio and a traditional. I get all three. They have different size shells dipped in chocolate if you like ,with salt with sprinkle and they come with powdered sugar too. If you're looking for a real Italian sub you hit the jackpot again order a a half Jack it's plenty big enough. Oh they also sell wine.
