Day #1 Sat 15Apr2023 Bought a computer monitor with the understanding it was complete.
Assembled it at home, found it needed an adapter that Walmart sells for $7, Amazon sells for $7.99 and was told when I called in to the store that Office Depot sells for $32.99.
When I stated what the adapter cost I was told that when I come in to pay for it that we could reach a compromise on what the price would be and that with proof of a competitor's price we might be able to agree on matching some of the cost difference.
I thanked him for the information, immediately boxed up the new monitor, returned it to the store in about an hour, was asked why I was returning it.
I explained that the price of the adapter sounded fishy to me and if this much could go wrong it buying a $7 item, what could go wrong in spending almost $300 on the same item?
So I decided that I do not trust Office Depot, definitely would not recommend it, and would discourage anyone from doing any business with such a company.
Wish the rating could be 0 stars as I dislike giving them the 1 that they did not deserve at all.

Update day #4 Tue 18Apr2023 Had a 25 minute phone call from the manager 5-5:25pm where we went over everything, what I didn't mention above was the product I bought from Walmart is a Samsung, the highest quality I could expect is from a Japanese company, not Made in China that Office Depot sells, plus I get a curved screen so saving almost $100 on the deal getting a better product is a great feeling.
The inferior Office Depot item meant it did not have the AVI connection so the $32.99 part is crucial, whereas Samsung has the AVI connection as well as the HDMI so an adapter is never needed. 0 stars warranted, 1 star remains 1 star.

Read moreHad to literally get aggravated and hunt a employee down and then threaten to call there corporate office just to be able to pay for their overpriced products. Due to; lack of anyone by the registers, and no self check out option. All the while there employees wonder around as if lost sheep. While numerous people wait in hideously long lines only to be ignored. If the employees are not wondering around ( looking busy) while achieving nothing. They sit on chairs right next to front cashiers area and chit chat as if it were at the 🍺 bar. All the while they the lost sheep (paid employees) seemingly obligate the one lonely employee by the printers to attend to everyone which is trying to gets copy's, Prints and pay for merchandise. Which directly leads the one overwhelmed employee to give extremely unprofessional service and a bad attitude to the customers standing in the ever growing ignored line of people waiting to pay for the lack of services rendered. As they the lost sheep (employees) look on with smiles as the customers grow more irate by the second. Never moving to help or even bothering to realize there is people in line money and products in hand. Extremely unprofessional. Lacking motivation for customer satisfaction. Overpriced products services. Seriously speaking cannot understand how they even stay in business with such hideously unprofessional services. Long story short would not recommend going to this location for any reason. Have personally visited this location many many times over the years only to realize my once (go to place for office related things) has now become seemingly a hang out spot for paid employees and irate ignored customers. Read moreThia is the second time I come to thia store to drop off a FedEx package and both times have been a complete clusterf... here. Stood in line over 30 minutes minutes just to drop off a prelabeled FedEx package. Finally got to the front. They started working on giving me a confirmation slip for the drop off, then the young lady asks what was in the package. "It was a Mac computer. Then she tells me she can't accept the package because the computer has a battery in it. What? Isn't this is a FedEx drop off point!? I tell her its been pre-approved and prelabelled. She says she can't help me because it's the rules.
