Some of the employees at this particular Ross location are incredibly snotty and rude, but this takes it to another level.
I take my Grandmother out shopping once a week and she loves checking new bargains at Ross. however, after our experience on Saturday with the employee mentioned, we are not sure if this location is both professional or safe with the employee actively working with poor customer service training.
The employee was working the checkout/return counter on Saturday. She made an elderly Woman walk all the way back to the Men's department for a return/replacement with no assistance. We then saw this elderly Woman hit her hip on shelf knocking an item on the ground, after showing struggle walking back.
The female employee at the checkout/returns counter stood there and proceeded to stare blankly at us with an annoyed, irritated facial expression. We waited near 7 minutes straight getting daggers from this employee. She then instructed us to put our items on the side table next to her.
By the time we reached the counter, the elderly Woman came back with her items. The employee then bagged our stuff, said nothing to us and proceeded to put our bags on the other customer's side near her bags.
I asked the employee why she would put our bags with the other customer's items, after my Grandmother had stated that our bags were the other customer's. We could not tell which items were our's or the other customer's, because she had set our bags with theirs.
The employee then raises her voice before saying "This is your stuff!" Then proceeds to shove the bags at us and says "whatever!". I should have held my tongue, but after seeing the disgusting way she treated not just my Grandmother, the elderly customer and I, this will not be my first stop when going out.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I have seen thus far and I hope they retrain this employee to drop her attitude and treat others with...
Read morewill literally NEVER shop at the Ross Dress for Less (Wesley Chapel, FL) again! Bought two - 4 feet folding tables , and a card table for my house....MIND YOU, IM OVER 6 MONTHS PREGNANT....so I had to put the tables one by one into my car. The cashier stops me as I'm leaving, telling me I can't take my cart outside, another lady stops and offers to help me, but the cashier "CARMEN" decides she wants me to leave my cart and bring my car up. So trying to not let myself get angry, I bring my car up to the curb( which is EXTREMELY busy with traffic and unsafe considering the tables had to go on the drivers side of my backseat), put on my hazard lights, walk in.... and then as I proceed to take the cart , literally from the curb to the my car ten feet away ...the rude employee stops me again!!! Telling me to wait until she finishes checking customers out, And tells me I can't take the cart LITERALLY ten feet. all of the guest in line , are now staring, and shaking there heads in disbelief, and telling her to just help me bc this is absolutely ridiculous! I've probably spent hundreds of dollars in that store over the last two months for the new house, NEVER AGAIN!! Absolutely ridiculous , I will be calling and speaking to the manager not only For the absurd customer service, but the fact that it unsafe for not just a pregnant person...
Read moreThe worst customer service by the short, brown, bumpy lady. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. She appeared to be tired of working or I sensed that she didn't want to be there. While at her register, she proceeded to tell me that she cannot return my items without a tangible receipt. Basically, a picture of my receipt will not suffice. I bagged my items to leave while she just stared at me. So, I decided to go through my wristlet to double check for a paper receipt and to no avail. Then, 60 + seconds later she asked me if I purchased my items with a card and proceeded to return my items. My concern is why not give me all the options of returns, as opposed to having me just stand there looking through old receipts. I almost left because she made it seem as if there was only one way to return my items; with a paper receipt. She wore a mask. I heard a cough. I'm sure she was sick, but without seeing her facial expression or seeing her lips move, I could barely hear or understand anything she said. She had to repeat herself a couple of times. It was just pure bad energy. I know which cashier to avoid my next visit. For those of you who intend on returning your items here; you must have a paper receipt or if you paid with a debit/ credit card, you can return it that way as well. That's what I...
