Stay home. Keep your money. In a time when we need more for less, Lori’s Roadhouse and the VOA Country Music Festival has given us less for much much more. The event is over sold, and in true Lori’s Roadhouse fashion they have segmented sales to two levels of vip to the stage, and overpriced them so no one is near the stage. Last year you could go right up to the stage. Not this year. They have half the amount of bathrooms as last year which is a problem. Fights break out around the bathrooms and there is little security at the event. Lori’s sold the rights to non-alcoholic beverages to the festival setup company, who does not keep drinks by the food. So get you food and while or gets cold walk a mile to a drink, or get a cold drink and let it get warm while you walk and wait for food. The grounds slope down away from the stage and the stage is not positioned to be viewed. So if you are more than half way back in general admission you can only hear the artist — YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM. Why not? Lori’s Roadhouse and VOA fest allow seat saving. So everyone rushes in when the gates open then throw down blankets and a multitude of chairs at 1pm for their return for the main artists at 9pm. This is a money grab not a...
Read moreThe others were right about the SUPER VIP tickets. My wife got them and then we paid even more for the SUPER VIP for just ONE night as a friend was in town. Food was a JOKE at this price point. And it was very unorganized on the cart transportation. I brought my wife every day (as I don't like country) and dropped her off where the Uber and Lyft p/u and dropoff were off of Butler Warren Road. Fairly easy to get in and out to drop her off. But then after a LONG day at the festival, no one could take her back. So she had to walk like a mile to get to the pick up spot. And she has been to STAGE COACH in CA the past 4 years straight VIP. And it was WAY better lineups and the perks were WAY better at the same price points. Get a better lineup/headliners and improve the catering for the VIP for next year VOA is what she said. The GA wasn't much better from what we have read. And we did see the $60/car parking! People were letting people park in their yards for like $15-25 across the street FYI. GET...
Read moreI gave this review a 2 star because my husband and I paid $3,000 for Super Vip tickets for a 4 day pass. Then the Vip parking was a couple hundred dollars on top of that. When we arrived we had to wait in a long line just to get in. In the meantime General Admission Plus got to go in before the Super VIp people. The food was terrible it was the same barbecue pizza and chips and undercooked hamburger sliders and pulled pork sliders. No desserts. For all the money we paid they could of did better with the food and faster entrance for the Super Vip and Vip people that paid big money. Also there could have been fans inside the tents of the Super Vip section. Maybe next time have better food and maybe a dessert table or maybe icecream. We traveled 4 hours for this it wasn't worth it. The lineup and music was good but the fest was poorly setup. Do better for the price people pay to travel and spend their hard earned money. Hire a better party planner for your Super...
