The Bonefish Grill comes very close to 5 stars. The restaurant was clean, the hostess was very polite, and were albe to get a table quickly with no reservations. The dining is casual or dressy and the soft rock music was not a distraction. The bathroom was pretty clean, but not as well maintained as I would have expected for the price of the meals. Our server, Blake, was very attentive but not hovering our table. The starter chibata bread was perfectly crisp on the outside but not too crisp and a tender inside; it paired well with the oil and herb blend. That had to be the best blend I have had in a long time. My husband had a margarita, which he said was very good. I had water. The filet was 7 oz but looked so much smaller, especially with the shrimp and scallops on top. It is difficult to believe that as a "special" that was $33. The scoop of whipped mashed potatoes was delicious despite appearing to have been scooped from the school cafeteria and being the size of about two table spoons. That was the "charged extra for premium side" size. Luckily, the asparagus, no added charge, was large enough to not make my plate look ridiculous for being charged $38. My husband's Mahi Mahi was dwarfed by his premium side of Mac and cheese with bacon straps on top, which could have been a meal in itself. Regardless, the food and service was great-tasting, just go knowing you are paying a lot for a little. It did leave room for dessert. I had the key lime cake, a spin on the pie with key lime filling in a triple layer cake, certainly a dessert for two. My husband enjoyed his macadamia nut brownie, which was a normal dessert portion with ice cream and raspberry sauce.

My wife and I had lunch here today. I had salmon and she had the Mahi-mahi. Both meals were pretty good. We also had some kind of garlic potatoes that were like French fries - neither one of us liked them. Our waitress was also the bartender which made our service wait long at times, but I believe she was doing her best. We regularly eat here so we will return at a later date. Update: 3/17/24, My wife and I a late lunch or early dinner here today. I had Blackened Salmon, with mash potatoes and a cauliflower dish cover with a thin batter (Excellent). My wife had the fried fish and chips, but potatoes instead of the chips. Pros: Salmon. bread, cauliflower and salad Cons: Fried fish - too greasy, mash potatoes look like they had been out awhile, but tasted ok to me - my wife didn't eat hers. Service for some reason was slow - it took over 30 minutes to be served our meals and the restaurant was not crowded - maybe 30%-40% full. Maybe there wasn't enough help in the kitchen. Bonefish fish and chips are always a hit or miss. We have them when they were better than any other restaurant we visited and other times it's just too greasy. I'm sure we will return, but not anytime soon. Update: 4/15/25, Had carryout here today. I ordered on-line and somehow I got my pickup time wrong on the order. When I called the restaurant to correct the time, the manager/head chef took care of the problem no questions ask. Our food was hot and excellent. Thank you and we hope to see you soon.

Came here with my Fiancé, WOAH what a disappointing experience. We were quick to be seated but after being seated , there were long periods between getting our drinks , our appetizers, and our food. Though the restaurant was very empty. The appetizer: Crab Cakes, super moist , mushy, broke at the touch , messy , overall 6/10. Following this, was what topped off the experience . Our plates , my fiancé ordered the Mahi- Mahi with fries and coleslaw. The plate was a good price , only to be disappointed with the portion of the fish and sides. The fish was 3 by 4 inch’s big : we were in shook, there was more sides then there was fish , which was his interest in visiting the restaurants. The fish was also so dehydrated that it broke apart like chicken— it wasn’t able to soak up the sauce from how dry the fish was. One side , his coleslaw seemed to be just vinegar and cabbage, super strong nasty taste. Then my plate , I had ordered the Lily's Chicken: super dry, again, the chicken was covered in the cheese as to give it some flavor but just tasted sour and dry. Following this experience I had the jasmine rice : which was hard and cold , seemed undercooked and had no taste. The overall price for this horrendous meal was also displeasing , it did not match the experience or quality of the food.

To WHOM IT CONCERNS: Me an my fiance frequent this location an love this place so it disappoints me having to make a bad review. Our Saturday experience (we sat at the bar) started with getting menus an asked what we'd like to drink my fiance order a alcohol drink and I a coke, we waited, waited, waited. She brought the drink an no coke. Explaining that someone was changing the coke, so I got a water. I ended getting one coke from the back of house the entire time. The entire time! The bar waitress was soooo slow to check back in with us and other guest, I wasn't sure of it was her 1st day. We ordered our food, and the salad came before my meal although and after speaking with another server, i was brought another salad with my meal that was dry. The fried cauliflower came but was also to be with my meal which was Kung poa Shrimp. The lady who brought it out, I explained i only wanted the small portion with my meal. She said ok but when my meal came out they brought the same back!! Also The Kung poa was dry, dry! I had to request sauce. The bar waitress when she was present "when she was present" seemed to be confused and always had a face of disgruntlement!!! NOT A SMILE DURING THE ENTIRE SERVICE. kept messing with her hair and then touching customers drinking glasses. Well I couldn't eat my food without something to drink an like I mentioned prior that was a no go! I finally got a water with my meal, I said Finally! Because I was asked did I need a box, I responded no but I'd like something to drink with my meal to help wash it down! She attempted to give me another highly carbonated only coke. She forgot my desert also, then brought it out after we had packed our food an asked for it to go! That day The food was not what I'm use to here! My fiance drink was like syrup! And crab cakes look like they cut one big crab cake in half to make two. Please let the bar attended know to smile an enjoy customers it'll be a great start and representation of Bone fish grill! I've been to this an other locations an have taken the good with the bad but this was to the point I almost walked out! The elder couples next to us didn't even order food because she took so long serving them after waiting what seemed like forever for there drinks. Not sure if bar work is for her?

We were there Saturday around 5:30 or so!

Please do...

This used to be the place my significant other & I would choose to dine in for a nice dinner & drinks, but based off the last 2 experiences, we will never return... 3/2017 (Sunday): The place was pretty much empty at 7 PM. We were seated quickly and the waitress attended to our table within a few minutes. That was one of four times we saw her that night. After ordering drinks, she brought them to us about 10 minutes later, in which we order our food. Food was brought out by someone else. Our water glasses were out at this time & but she was nowhere to be found. 15 minutes later she walked past our table & dropped our check off & kept walking. I put my card in and she preceded to walk back 10 minutes later to pick it up; again without saying anything. We then saw a customer flag our waitress down & state that there's water on the floor & someone could fall, in which she replied, "Well, you should probably look where you're walking". After another 10 minutes, she dropped off the check & said nothing. I couldn't believe how rude our waitress was to us & other patrons. We left vowing to stay away from this place for awhile.

10/1/17 (2nd & last visit): My significant other & I decided to give this place another try for our anniversary dinner. I made an online reservation to make sure we had a table upon arrival. We showed up & were seated quickly. We noticed the place wasn't busy & figured we would be in & out...we were wrong. In short, we waited over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us & place our drink order; but no one came. Several waiters/waitresses passed our table without saying anything. In addition, there were about four or five wait staff sitting along the back wall conversing with each other & watching tv. We decided to leave & kindly let the host staff know our table was now open. They tried convincing us that they would notify the wait staff, but since this was our second bad experience in a row, we declined their offer. We ended up going to Mitchell's Fish Market in Union Center, which provided us great food & service!

In all, this place does serve great food & drinks (Moscow mules may be the best in town), but the service is absolutely terrible. I will stay away from this particular location from here on out & choose Mitchell's when I'm looking for seafood in the West...

My dad and I met for an early dinner here on a Sunday in late September. My nine month old was also with us, so I was little bummed this location didn’t have a patio. But the restaurant wasn’t busy at all (only a handful of tables were full), so I did t have to worry too much about baby chatter disturbing other guests.

We decided to order a bunch of shareables, something we’ve enjoyed doing in the past. But we ordered a few things that were new to us and I think we found sone favorites!!

We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp and the wontons. Honestly, I’m not much of a shrimp fan in any other circumstance. But this Bang Bang really packs a punch of great flavors! And I love the crunch of breading. The wontons were something we enjoyed on our last visit. But I have to say that some of the other dishes we ordered ended up being more impressive. I think the bacon Mac & cheese ended up being my personal favorite. It was loaded with tons of gooey cheese that had all the flavor you could want. Not to mention a nice texture. Take a bit of noodles and some Bang Bang shrimp together and even more magic can happen!

I also loved the Brussels sprouts and ham. The sprouts are tossed in their lemon-vinaigrette, the pieces of ham are thick cut and have a nice char and crunch and then there’s a drizzle of lemon aioli. So good!!! This also pairs very nicely with the Mac & cheese.

Lastly, a side of fries. This was something we ordered on our last visit mostly because knew my toddler would eat it. But they’re actually really awesome fries. I strongly suggest that you ask for the dipping sauce that comes with the calamari. I don’t know what it is, but it’s amazing to dip your fries in it!!

My only minor complaint is that our waiter completely disappeared for quiet sone time once all our food came out. This was quite a surprise to me considering how fast and friendly the service had been up to that point and considering how relatively empty the...
