City Barbeque — Restaurant in West Chester Township

I never write reviews but my visit today was worth writing one. I decided to go here, one of my favorite restaurants, because I like their pulled pork sandwich. She puts my change on the counter, and puts the receipt IN my cup, which was just with my change before she handed it to me...trying to get me sick?? I ask for another cup, so she says "you need 3 cups??" I said yes. She sticks HALF OF HER HAND IN my cup and hands it to me.. I don't want anyone's fingers in my cup, especially after handling money. Next, we get our order, 2 pulled pork sandwiches and 2 sides, like usual. When we got our food, one sandwich was about half the size of the other. I said something about it and the lady says " you got the lunch meal, the sandwich is 1/4lb instead of 1/2lb." Ok, I didn't say lunch meal, I ordered 2 sides separate from the sandwiches. Pretty sure I didn't order something I didnt know you had. So anyways, she turns around to lady who makes the sandwiches and says loudly and impatiently "he got the lunch meal and wants a bigger sandwich"... No I didn't. To top it all off, she begins talking about us to another employee and start laughing while looking over at us, the employee that she was talking to even looked around the corner to get a look at us? I liked this restaurant and came here often with a few friends and planned on bringing family in to try it out for lunch sometime. You'd think couple women in their 30's should have a little better customer service.. Good food but this experience was so bad it ruined the meal.

We ordered over $100 worth of food from here a couple of weekends ago through door dash and the doordash driver disappeared with our food. Didn't try to reach out or anything. Resturant confirmed they picked it up. We were having my husband's birthday dinner and the closest City Barbeque was Voice of America. We were trying to save time by using door dash. After an hour after the dasher picked up our food, he didn't show up and then we get a text message that our order had been canceled. He didn't try to call us or anything so he took off with over $100 worth of food. I called City Barbeque to see what was going on. They said they didn't trust door dash to deliver it again and offered to make this large meal for us again if we came to pick it up. We drove 25 minutes after having waited an hour already. (Door Dashs's fault). We get there and the line was out the door. Dillon at the Tylersville location took care of us. He went above and beyond!!! We will be customers for life because of the amazing service they gave us because of a third party screw up. It's rare to find such good service these day but Dillon...

My wife and I are new to the area. We saw City Barbeque and decided that we would try this. We both ordered the Lolo BBQ sandwich, a basket of fried pickles and a basket of hush puppies. I was told to pick it up in 15 minutes. They claimed to have lost my order, so it took twice as long. We did NOT get the lolo sandwich, we got the plain BBQ sandwich. That said, the flavours were wonderful. I would not order fried pickles to go, as they were quite soggy, and the breading was falling off. Again, they tasted great, just not what we expected. Had my order been right, and on time, I would have gladly given 5 stars. The food tasted great. BUT, they "lost" my order, but then fixed it up for me when I got there, and I did not have to tell them what I ordered. Hmm... Plus, they charged me for a sandwich that was more expensive, and gave me lesser product, even though the sandwiches had the name of the sandwiches I ordered, written on the wrapper. The food had wonderful flavours. I would recommend NOT ordering ahead, and going in to order onsite, so you can make sure they do not...
