Pizza 316 — Attraction in West Chester

Found Pizza 316 while doing a search for "best cheesesteak near me". Was really impressed by all of the great reviews, so gave it a try! We just ate the very best cheesesteaks!! And wings! And a really tasty sample of their upside down pizza. Let me explain....I went in to pick up our order and met the owner. Had a friendly chat and told him that we haven't found a favorite cheesesteak yet. He asked that we let him know one way or the other if we had finally found it. We're happy to say that YES! we did! The sandwiches are full of meat and all of the delicious ingredients that make the perfect cheesesteak. Ours were sharp provolone, onions, mushrooms and tomato. The sesame bun really adds to the flavor. And to top it all off the very large and full sandwich comes in a sturdy box....none of that flimsy, wet paper! Got some wings that are meaty with great flavor and the right amount of crunchiness. And the owner included a couple slices of the upside down pizza for us to try. Well we're sold on it too! The sauce is bright and fresh tasting and the crust is just perfect. Have to mention how easy it is to order online. All the details are on there. All cheese, sauces, quantities of those items are all spelled out so there's no guessing if you'll get what you really want. Very user friendly. This was our first meal at Pizza 316, but won't be our last! ...

I just want to start off by saying I hate leaving this review, the restaurant and the staff are awesome, and it really is a welcoming environment. I apologize about the negative now, but at the end of the day it’s business and not personal. I’ll first start with the boardwalk fries which were awesome, I wish I could say the same for the pizza. I do not mind paying $20 for a pizza that is an actual large. This pizza sized a regular was slightly bigger than a frozen pizza. I say frozen because it actually tasted like one. I know the pizza was not because I saw them making it fresh in a pan. The pizza was very chewy and to be honest was a step below digiorno. If you lined a up your pizza with frozen pizza and blind folded me I would not be able to tell the difference. I told my wife we would have saved money by just getting a frozen pizza. It’s disappointing when you want to try a good pizza on pizza Friday and it’s not good. I totally understand the business is new, but charging 20 for a pizza that should have the quality of your go to pizza, boardwalk pizza, vacation pizza, or whatever you call pizza home is very disappointing. I wish you well and again apologize for this review, but when things are ridiculously priced for below average quality it has to be said. Pizza 316 in West Chester, PA is an absolute gem! Our team has placed multiple large orders for business lunches, and every single time, the experience has been flawless. We've tried a wide variety of their pizzas, (including gluten free!) and each one is consistently fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Whether it's a Yia Yias or something more adventurous, you can't go wrong.

Also worth highlighting—their chocolate chip cookies are truly next level. Soft, gooey, and absolutely irresistible.
