I wish I could say more about the store, but it was closed at 1:45 even though store hours said open at 1. I read other reviews and I realize the owner(s) are working on consistency, but why not set the hours later than earlier to communicate clearer expectations? I tried calling the store multiple times to no avail, and the voicemail box “hasn’t been set up yet” according to the number. No clue when someone would come, if someone would come, how long I’d wait. I’m more than happy to follow the bag policy and shop respectfully, but I wish hours were predictable. P.S. It is definitely not clear that the sign talking about store hours is a vintage piece and not an actual handwritten note. Adds to the confusion. EDIT: I received a call back at 3pm, so that was nice at least. Bumped the review from 2 to 3 stars since it was still a frustrating experience.

I literally spent over an hour here yesterday and bought several gifts for upcoming family birthdays. If you like authentic collectibles; retro clothing; handy use and related items; you have to visit The G Spot. I highly recommend at least stopping in for lively conversation and shopping. Some very interesting military collectibles and tools as well. Bought this for my daughter's upcoming bday.

This place is fantastic!! And as a middle aged mom, it's so great to see all the WCU students shopping there! New location is so spacious...lots more to explore. We recently stopped in before a dinner resv & we all left with something!!! New items seem to come in frequently, so it's been fun each time I've been in!!

Honestly, this store wasn’t worth the walk to. First, the owner acted extremely rude and did not care to wear a face mask. Second, it contains a ton of junk and damaged clothing for extremely high prices. I did not see one item worth buying and wish I had not wasted one second of my time. I love thrift shopping and love vintage clothing, but not when that vintage clothing is so clearly falling apart, ripped and/or stained, and overpriced. My experience here was disappointing to say the least and I can’t help but wonder how she is still in business. Anyway, never again.

UPDATE as of 06/28/22 since the owner of G Spot wanted to change her previous comment attacking my truthful review and include further lies.... This owner made her first aggressive comment toward my above review about one year ago. The fact that she decided to make another aggressive comment many months later should speak for itself.... First lie is that my review of her shop is a complete fabrication. Second, it is true the door of her store was locked, but her hours stated her store opened at an earlier time, which is why I parked blocks away, and made the effort to walk there. At the time of my arrival, I saw her walking around in her shop with her lights on. I absolutely knocked. Why wouldn't I? What harm is there in knocking since her store was supposed to be open at the time of my arrival according to her hours? No, I did not pound on her glass aggressively in any way, shape, or form. I have manners, and I am a courteous human being. Why would I want to be responsible for breaking this woman's glass? That kind of lie is truly ridiculous. It is true I spoke to the owner once her store opened up, but not as she describes. We made very quick small talk as I was immediately offended by her incredibly rude and disrespectful behavior. Lastly, I got a real kick out of her comment stating that I claimed to be a regular at the Salvation Army. NEVER in my life have I ever stepped into a Salvation Army. I will say, I have worked for a criminal defense attorney in West Chester for the past 11 years of my life. I am used to dealing with crazy, deceitful individuals every single day as it comes with the territory. The dishonesty of this owner does not phase me in the slightest. Just be WARNED before considering making a trip to her store that you would be visiting/supporting an absolute loon and liar. Furthermore, I stand by my previous comments stating her items are not worth seeing, or paying for. Good luck to all of my fellow...

My friends and I stopped by here with high hopes but ultimately left with disappointment and feeling uncomfortable. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted because she was chatting with someone else in the store. That’s fine, of course you need to manage plenty of customer interactions. But as soon as they left, she started snapping at us because we had a bag and a drink. It was very off putting and cold. No friendly hello, instead: “You failed to read my sign, I need to take your bag.” I had to leave my bag unattended and keep the drink up front. I understand why you have this policy, but it should be enforced in a professional, friendly, and understanding manner. Most stores do not have such policies, so it needs to be graciously explained. Furthermore, if that policy is enforced it should be on ALL customers instead of targeting only young customers (which is discrimination by the way). Other customers in the store had purses/bags, which was okay for them to do but not us.

There were some beautiful pieces that were priced accordingly. However, most of the clothing selection was not quality vintage. A 10 year old, super worn t shirt does not need to be over $15. Some prices were truly questionable and confusing.

Gigi, you spend some much time and energy defending yourself and not enough taking accountability, LISTENING to VALID criticism and moving on. No business owner is perfect, and perfection isn’t expected. I can’t imagine how exhausting it must be to never learn and grow from an experience and constantly play the victim. I hope you can...

Edit: Hey Gigi, looks like you're starving for 5-star reviews, so here you go. I've upgraded my 1-star review to a sparkling 5-star because, clearly, you need it more desperately than I do. Maybe one day, you'll find some tranquility in your life, just like I have in mine—minus the web of lies. Best of luck!

Your reply's first line shows you're twisting the facts. I wasn't even here four months ago—I moved to West Chester at the end of May lol. Your response is laughable. Clearly, I'm the one who knows the real facts, as my memory is far better than yours ;)

Ah, the thrift shop experience—where you expect hidden treasures, not hidden agendas! Recently, I stumbled upon a Wedgewood jasperware, perfectly priced at $7.99. Or so I thought. Upon reaching the counter, I praised my serendipitous find, only to be informed by the owner that the label must have mistakenly landed in the vase. Apparently, my $7.99 gem was a $200 masterpiece.

Cue the lengthy online search where the owner diligently tried to justify the vase's newfound triple-digit worth. My inner bargain hunter was not impressed, especially since I buy wedgewood a lot and this wasn't exactly a showstopper. After some back-and-forth, with the owner proposing $70 and me humorously suggesting $50, I decided to walk away, empty-handed but not empty-headed.

In summary, if you enjoy thrift shop adventures with unexpected plot twists and a side of dramatic price inflation, this is your spot! Just be prepared for the comedy of errors and bring your...
