Encouraging with tiny Drill Sargent'ness (he won't let you just stand there during an instrumental but like in a good, challenge yourself, everyone will be happier if you air guitar or sway your hips way).

Confident, big personality, and spotlight'y but in a way that complements, not detracts or competes.

Song selection, equipment, and process are top notch. His camera will capture much better photos than your husband will. I appreciate there's no greasing the palms to get called up faster.

His positive aura is infectious. It's impossible to be at PopUp Karaoke and not have a good time — loudly and silly'ly. Exactly what adults need.

Pop Up Karaoke is a great night of karaoke. The hosts engage with the crowd and the lights, fog, and stickers are an extra pop of stagecraft that makes everything special.

The hosts never play favorites or let people jump the queue. If you miss when your name is called, they'll even try again in a song or two! Last song is always a group song, chosen by someone in the crowd.

Pop Up Karaoke also schedules regular special events at their residencies, like pyjama week, tutu Tuesday, and karaoke in the park. There are just so many special touches!

This was amazing! He quickly worked with me to get a last minute (1.5 week notice) karaoke night planned for my 40th birthday. We were hosting at a bar, and we had half the bar reserved for our private party of about 80 people. (Last minute because of Covid, so we weren’t sure we were going to be doing anything for a while.) He worked with the bar owners and managers directly, and even popped in ahead of time to get a feel for the layout and see how best to accommodate the space. He was accessible and quick to reply at all times and made the experience exceptionally easy. Not to mention the karaoke service itself was stellar! We had such a great time that we asked him to stay another hour later, and he happily agreed. I have nothing but great things to say about...
