Lavish Beauty Bar — Attraction in West Palm Beach

What in the world is going on with these nail salons in Florida? In a month I’ve been to three different nail salons and each one has had some type of issue. So, yesterday I decided to try Lavish Beauty Bar in West Palm. By all account, the Instagram photos and claims looks great. Well, looks can be deceiving and that was not my experience. When I arrived the woman Ro (owner) had on a hair scarf. I just don’t think a salon that claims to be high end should have people walking around with bandanas. JUST SAYING. I should have turned and walked out but I decided to give them a try. I’d give Ro a 6/10. Ro seems very hard, I felt like I was running a marathon trying to get her to smile and seem comfortable. It doesn’t seem to come easy for her to be approachable and relaxed with ALL customers. VERY STRANGE. Back to my nails...-I had tips on and she did not remove them instead she filled on top of them. I’ve never had a nail tech do that. It’s a tip, it should be removed, and reapplied. I guess it would have been to much work for her. Not sure why, it was a Friday and barely anyone was there. With at least 3 other customer there, her mom started cursing about something. I’m like, there are customers in here. What business owner does that? Wanting to suppport a Black business, I was not going to quit them just yet. I wanted to still give them a try. So, while leaving at about 4:45pm, I made an apt. for the next day at 1pm for lashes. Even though the person I wanted Erica was no longer there I was going to give them a try. They close at 5pm. I called in the next day at 12:30pm to move the apt. I was told that I would be charged $25 because they need more than 24 hour notice. It hasn’t been 24 hours since I left there. So the right thing to do would be, moving the apt. and letting me know that next time there would be a cancellation fee. I mean it’s been 17.5 hours since I left their salon. That’s NOT good business. I paid $86 for the service and gave $11 in tips. I’m just saying, this is just bad business. Mediocre nail performance, unpleasant environment, and poor customer experience? Bye. Although I will NEVER - EVER - go back there again, I had to share my experience because the LAVISH experience was...

My sister, me, and my mom are all clients of Lavish Beauty Bar! These ladies are more than cosmetologists, more than nail technicians—your beauty needs are met here, but after a while, each appointment becomes therapeutic. Now that might sound extra, but think about it! The one-on-one nature of your appointment lends itself to the development of a sincere relationship with your Specialist...Vickie, Ro, Alicia and Amber are all caring and awesome at what they do! My sister had been coming to Vickie for YEARS before I ever had my first appointment and now I understand why! My nails are gorgeous EVERYTIME and I always leave feeling loved...

eh very lack luster gel manicure no scrub no massage no lotion lmao just cuticle maintenance & polish

the lady who did my nails was very dry no personality didn’t even introduce herself when i sat down, felt like she didn’t want to do my nails

also watched another nail tech (assuming she is the owner) start doing her own nails right in front of my face after she told me she didn’t have time to do the service i requested on my nails :(

Kye did an amazing job with my nanna’s pedicure she was very patient and polite 🤎

unfortunately overall i wouldn’t recommend as a new client seems like they treat their returning...
