Leeann Chin — Restaurant in West St. Paul

My boyfriend and I were contemplating on whether or not we wanted to go to Panda Express or Leeann Chin (they're across the street from one another). We decided to go to Leeann Chin. Almost from the moment we walked in did we receive poor customer service (from one employee in particular). Only one of the employee's working acknowledged us as we walked in, mind you of the two working, she was the one on the register, not the older woman who was dishing out the food (and was closest to us). From there it went downhill. I placed my order and my boyfriend placed his but had to wait for one of the entree's to be made fresh (which is fine). The older woman still hasn't acknowledged us, has walked away a couple different times not making any interest in wanting to help us. She then comes back at one point with the entree my boyfriend had ordered which she assumed was for me and put on my plate (again, we could have just taken his entree out and put it on a plate for him). Instead, the older woman began to argue with the other girl working, who had taken our order originally, in front of not only my boyfriend and I but now three other customers behind us because she didn't know who the entree was for BECAUSE she didn't make an interest to help us earlier. The woman then started getting an attitude with my boyfriend and I on what to do with his entree (not that hard to just take it out and put it on a new plate for him...) We're now probably 10 minutes in to placing our order. At this point I was fuming with anger at how unprofessional and rude the older woman was to her employee and her customers. We decided to say screw it and walk out because of how bad this woman was handling the situation. As we were walking out she tried to yell "no, no, no don't leave!" I'm sorry but not only will I not enjoy the food that was poorly served to us, but I'm not paying for it. We walked out and drove across the street to Panda Express. I hate leaving bad reviews. I've ate here in the past with my boyfriend in the last couple of weeks and I got the firecracker shrimp which i love and he gets lemon chicken and we share and we split an order of cream cheese puffs.

I happened to go there tonight 40 minutes before store close and I was really hungry and I'm really picky and Mya was a super patient friendly angel, as she had firecracker shrimp made fresh plus I decided to try the beef and broccoli (I got half and half with fried rice) and I had a free entree. I also decided to try the potstickers which were oily but the bite of egg roll and cream cheese puff was good.

Unfortunately when I opened the entree it smelled burnt (I couldn't see or smell that it was burnt when I ordered at the store, unfortunately), the beef and broccoli was what was actually burnt and even though I tried the firecracker shrimp because it was in the same thing it had a burnt taste, so did the rice from being in the same container and i couldn't eat anything else after that, i.e. most of my appetizers as well as 99 percent of the entree and threw everything out and unfortunately I still an hour later have a yucky burnt taste in my mouth.

If the super oily but lacking any kind of flavor potstickers were the only problem, I probably would've still wrote a review but with higher stars given how wonderful Mya was and how usually the staff is great and the food is good as I've had on rare occasion in other stores a problem but it's been awhile bad service and not the greatest food but nothing like the burnt smelling and tasting (as I did try a bite of that both a smidgen of beef and broccolii, too after the shrimp to nail down it was the beef and broccoli that was burnt).

Again, I don't want anyone to get in trouble as the staff is usually really nice but because I couldn't eat my appetizers (which I paid for) and 99 percent of my entree as it wasn't even worth being free, it was extremely...

Ordered online through Leeann Chin app for delivery. It was delivered over half an hour after their app stated it would arrive. Was MISSING 2 items that were on the receipt.

I called and they told me that everything was included and I needed to contact Doordash even though I had already contacted Doordash (which I didn’t even order through) and they told me to contact the store.

The man on the phone at Leeann Chin offered to have the manager contact me on the following day. I gave my name and phone number and was never contacted.

This was my second time ordering with items missing. This is theft. I will not be ordering online from here again. I do not recommend this store.

I also emailed corporate. They emailed to say they would follow up and never did. I just want my money back for the items I didn’t receive and some accountability.
