Family rented a theater room to watch the new Tom and Jerry movie. Incredible renovations made to the seating and construction since my last visit. The motorized reclining chairs were entertainment on their own. As for the theater experience itself, there was a technical issue at the beginning of the advertisements and the projected was off, but that was quickly remedied. As someone who enjoys the theaters for the movie experience I would not recommend watching any action based or thrillers in this theater. The sound system seemed a bit washy and was very much missing the bassieness you get going to a higher quality theater. I assume this is to accommodate for being in a public mall to prevent noise complaints, but it does take away from the experience. The screen was rather large, but not too impressive as we likely did not choose the highest quality room just for Tom and Jerry.
Overall, I would get a better theater experience in my own home setup, but if you are looking for somewhere to watch a movie and have no better options, give...
Read moreVery Upset with this location!!! I normally go to Hanover but someone told me I had to try this Theater because of the reclining seats. We took our grand kids once & thought it was pretty cool to have the reclining seats so decided to take some family to see the Lion King for my 2nd time. I bought 6 tickets online and accidentally bought the 3D. I called in and they told me they can't do a refund over the phone but assured me I could come in the next day to get a refund. I decided to just go ahead and order the right tickets so I could make sure we have tickets & seats together knowing I was going to get my refund the next day. I spent over $140.00 in tickets in one day!!! My husband went in to get the refund the very next day and was told that they on't do that and all they can do is give us rain check tickets!!!! We were very upset!!!!! I will be seeing the Lion King but will no longer come back to your Theater and will be letting everyone I know not to go there!! I Still Want...
Read moreWe wanted to see 1917 but didn't want to drive to the always overcrowded Columbia area. The reputation of this Westminster facility has not been good over the years, but with new management, decided to give it a try. All I can say is "wow". For a facility that was labeled a "dump" but a few years ago, it was very nice!!! Floors were clean and not sticky, and appears to be in a "maintained" state now.... The theater we sat in had the reclining seats and were reserve-able. Sound was good and not too loud, maybe a bit more volume may have helped. I would say if you live in the area, fear this theater no more, and support a local business. Yeah I know it's R/C, but people from our community work there, and with a now nice facility we should...
