Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Westminster

1st time here. 7/3/21 The staff was disorganized. The guy who started my order was reprimanded in front of customers by another co worker for how to put names on the paper (something to do with big order in front of me. ) It was moderately busy and looked like a 7-8 person crew. But service was slow.

Biggest thing was no one was keeping the topping stocked. They have a 2nd counter I would guess is for the phone orders. The woman making those orders keep coming to the front counter to get toppings. The girl making my pizza at the front counter realize they where out of their main cheese at both counters Took them a minute to get more from the back room. How do you let your main ingredient run completely out? I noticed a lot of topping containers had a few pieces of the next topping over spilled in to them. Along with most containers almost empty of toppings. So the topping presentation was sloppy. Plus they were totally out of basil!!!

Only reason for the 2 stars is the pizza itself was decent compared to the crews performance. But if compared to MOD pizza. Mod has them beat. Their thick crust does not cook well if it has a lot of toppings. The ham is like a 3" circle so it doesn't let the heat cook the dough well. They need to at least slice that down. In my opinion the Italian meat ball tasted horrible. But the pepperoni and salami where good. I do like they offered a cheaper cheese or 1 topping only pizza price.

I can only hope they get the crew running smoother. Would probably attempt again in...

I came into blaze at 3:45. I am the only person in line but I can see that the TWO people that working are overwhelmed with I guess togo orders , but instead of greeting me and explaining anything I ask about how long it is going to be and the guy making the pizzas, Ty, was like yea it’s gonna be a while u should go somewhere else. Lol I have never in my life had an establishment tell me I should leave because they are busy then I was like what did u say and he looked to his co worker and said can you come deal with this ladie… then said he didn’t say that and me and my daughter clearly heard him. Now I’m not a Karen and I normally don’t do this but omg. The manager came over and told me my drink will be free today. He was nice and explained they were short staffed which I understood but still. For the fact I stood there for 30 minutes before they even started my pizza I should have gotten it for free instead of a 15% discount. And I eat here all...

Awesome place, awesome pizza, and awesome people. This isn’t my first Blaze experience. Having gone to school in College Park, I’m very familiar with the franchise and have ordered many red vines (my personal favorite) in my life. What makes this place stand out is the amazing staff who really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. But I have to address the poor reviews that seem to stand out when you look up Blaze Pizza in Westminster, MD. Is the place busy? Yes, of course. And isn’t that a great thing? We have not been out in a year and Westminster doesn’t get many new restaurants often. So it’s no wonder many of us have flocked to this new place all at once. And of course a business like this will be inundated by the big crowds in the beginning. But you can tell the staff is working hard and fast and I hope in time Blaze will become a beloved favorite for Westminster, like it is in...
