Sons of Italy — Attraction in Wheat Ridge

The place is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L BEAUTIFUL. No doubt about it. With some imagination and an eye for decorating, this space can be transformed into a dream come true for any event.

Unfortunately, the staff was very difficult to deal with. In my opinion, not worth the hassle or price to hold your event here. Another downside is that, due to the 11pm noise ordinance, you may have to wrap up your event early especially if the police are called. (Something they don't tell you till after the contract is signed and deposit is made.) There also appears to be a very bad rapport with with the neighbors in the neighborhood. I couldn't really tell if it was because of the venues staff and its members or neighbors being unneighborly. Perhaps both sides bear some responsibility.

I really wanted to give this place a better rating because there was a lot to like. However, the cons significantly outweighed the pros. Better business sense and hospitality skills could really make this place a top notch venue.

This was our experience, hopefully others will have better experiences to share.

This is a lovely building built around its ballroom dance floor which also sports an industrial kitchen in the basement. This community structure is ideally situated for social events. I only know this establishment through ecstatic dancing on Thursday nights! The neighborhood is very pleasant, sleepy, and safe. This location is easy to access and accurately reflects the feel of the whole village. It's Definitely a well maintained and accommodating space. The Sons of Italy are a very gracious, generous, and long standing (global) organization that can be contacted about the availability of the main room for events and possibly weddings. The Sons of Italy was a perfect venue for our family gathering. The building is pretty and spacious. The cost was better than smaller venues. They provided Bluetooth and microphones for speeches and songs. Soda, coffee and a table with water was included with the price. The fee also included set up and breakdown of tables and chairs. Sal our facilitator was helpful and kind as people came in to decorate and set up the food.
