I’m giving a 2 star review because the balloon arch we purchased for a friends baby shower snapped in half before the event even started (see picture) and once it came apart, the balloons proceeded to pop one after another and eventually you couldn’t even tell it was a balloon arch. We were so disappointed to see the balloon arch break in two pieces but I guess we shouldn’t have been surprised because while it was being installed the string already broke in half and they tied it back together but obviously not tight enough to keep it intact. Tessa did offer to come out and fix it but at that point the event had already started and it would have been really awkward and noticeable for them to fix it during the event.

Given the balloon arch fell apart before the event even started, we thought we would get a credit or refund but was shocked when Tessa refused and only offered a discount for future events. I was also appalled that she tried to put the blame on us for picking a location that was not her original plan but this was never communicated because she sent someone else to setup and that person said they could install it in the location we chose. I felt taken advantaged of because I expressed concerns that the balloon arch needed a frame to stay up and Tessa assured me that the balloons and arch would be prepped so they would last even though we were installing the arch outside. I definitely think this could have been prevented had Tessa communicated her original plan, brought the proper supplies to ensure the arch stayed intact, and fully communicated any risks with the way the balloon arch was setup. I’m writing this review to warn others of what happened to us because we essentially wasted our money and never got a refund, although it was not our fault the balloon arch broke in half. I will say, Tessa was very nice and accommodating when we initially spoke but I was really disappointed when she did not refund us and blamed the situation on us when their string broke!
