Richards-Hart Estate — Attraction in Wheat Ridge

I feel like we lucked out finding this venue! It is on a gorgeous property (wedding photos are beautiful), working with Sharon was so easy (we were even allowed to come again after our initial viewing to arrange the tables to confirm guest count), and you can have the venue for the full day for a fraction of the cost of most venues in the Denver area. We liked that we could choose our own vendors to make our wedding more unique to us and found it very helpful that they Estate had a recommendation list (DJ, caterers, bartenders) to get us started/compare to those we found on The Knot. We wanted a simple wedding so knowing that we couldn’t put decoration on the walls made our lives easier and we decided to work the current color scheme into our wedding décor as well (e.g., the estate has brown curtains and chairs and we bought brown table cloths to match the esthetic – helpful when having a autumnal wedding). BIG shout out to Scott, the onsite venue coordinator during our event! He was incredibly helpful. I knew there would be someone on site during our wedding. I thought it would be to monitor things and make sure clean up ended on time. I did not realize he would be there to help us too! He sent vendors to the right spots, help them set up, and even helped change catering dishes in our buffet so we didn’t have to assign a family member to do so. Everything went so perfectly and having our wedding at the Richards-Hart Estate added to the magic of the day. I highly recommend this venue for your next event! Noting that we had 50 guests and kept tables to the two Parlor rooms since the Living Room was being used as the dance floor and the dining room had the buffet tables. It was a little tight on space in the Parlor rooms so just take into account if you are having more than 50 guests, you’ll want to utilize one of the other rooms for additional dining space and break down tables after dinner to open the floor up...

This is such a nostalgic Landmark I've been bringing my granddaughters here for a few years now , not far from my apt. We call it our secret get away. Weve seen several weddings perfomed on their designated arch and aisle licated outside this BEAUTIFUL HOME the fountain works out back works for as old as it it the flower beds that not only surrond the fountain along with a nice bench or two located in two different spots behind on side of it. Their grounds also provide a tidy playground area as well as a nice place to bring your dog for a lil workout or walk. To my surprise I discovered just last summer aftet the few years coming here, the dedication plaques from familys for the trees donated. This place I came across by accident I've lived in the neighborhood more than 10 years and didn't know such a grand and gorgeous house existed this has turned out to be for both my granddaughters & and myself our lil getaway, the back of the house has an very old fountain which works quite well its only turned on during an event the flowers that are planted each spring are awesome the playground attached to the grounds is small but efficient, and very clean grounds for what appears to have become somewhat of a dog park for owners to walk, potty and play with their pets no droppings left behind that I've noticed and i frequent this special place often.
