Rocky Mountain Balloon Rides — Attraction in Wheat Ridge

BREATHTAKING! This hot air balloon ride was such an amazing experience. Jeff was a great pilot with an immense amount of experience and knowledge. Jeff had coffee and breakfast snacks while setting up, which was such a sweet gesture. Also, he kindly let us sit in his car with the heat blasting so we wouldn't freeze while the balloon was blowing up. This was perfect for the cold morning and despite the cold weather, this ride was so worth it! What was great was that we had the basket all to ourselves since we were the only one signed up so private ride for a group rate, you cannot beat that!!!! The views are spectacular & that you can only get high up, so what better way! During the ride, Jeff educated on us on what he was doing and what gadgets he was working with. We landed safely and upon landing, Jeff brought out mimosas (or mimosas without OJ lol) and said the hot air balloon prayer. It was perfect way to end the whole thing and he even gave us suggestions for plans after since we were new to the area. Best way to start off...

When looking for a safe and reliable balloon company. Rocky Mountain Balloon Rides is the best. Jeff is a very friendly and personable person. He called and talked with me with in the hour I inquired his site about making reservations. He assured us on the safety and quality of his balloon rides, and had us very excited for our trip.

Jeff called us the night before and made sure we were ready for our ride. He texted us the directions to get there and everything. When we got there we got to help set up the balloon while Jeff took pictures. In the air Jeff was a wonderful guide. He explained the process of flying a balloon, pointed out cool landmarks, and was constantly on the look out for good photo opportunities.

This was for my girlfriends birthday and Jeff made sure that it was a special day. When it was time to say goodbye Jeff made my girlfriend a little souvenir out of the cork from our champagne.

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. From the first phone call I made, Jeff had me very excited about asking my girlfriend to marry me in the sky. Rocky Mountain Balloon rides provided great service. There was a wonderful layout with pastries, coffee and tea that were provided while the balloon was being set up and prepped. Jeff was a great teacher and clearly has a lot of experience ballooning. He was very personable and really when you are stuck 1000 feet in the air with someone I would say Jeff is our top pick of people to be in a wicker basket dangling above the earth. He is fun, considerate of all our requests, and very very passionate about what he does. We highly recommend ballooning with Jeff. The champagne and stories after the ride were a wonderful plus to the great experience.
