Chisholm Creek North Park — Attraction in Wichita

Fun and quick fishing hole with nice banks which make for great sittin’ spots. Very well maintained with nicely mowed trails leading to the water. Clean as a whistle with hardly any trash laying around...I haven’t caught a fish yet, but that’s not the park’s fault—-it’s obviously my fishing pole...or my DMF bait (that’s really the name of the company that makes the worms I use)...Post your pictures so everyone knows when the fish...

This place surprised me. Went on a fishing date with my Honey and it was wonderful. Quiet, clean, beautiful, his fishing spot, nature trails, well kept and mowed paths, pretty big and lots of trees for shade. I highly recommend. Pets asked to stay on paths. No trash cans. Will need to dispose off your trash when you leave. Easy parking. Liquor store across the street and places to purchase...
