Mirai ramen & sushi — Restaurant in Bel Aire

Me and my friends had a great experience over there on opening night. Table was always cleaned efficient and ready for people to dine in on the clock. The staff was exceptionally considerate and always seek to improve themselves by asking opinions from several of their customers (and they took the advice to improve themselves because the next time I ordered the same dish they actually implemented the change and took my opinion to improved the dish!). The boss is super nice and friendly to all its customers and is always seeking room for improvement! He is a very down to earth person as well, working hands on with his employees constantly. Food was superb and definitely one of the top sushi and ramen places in Wichita, KS. We had the unagi rice bowl (eel), the chashu ramen, the orgasm roll (definitely one of their top sushi item), and the Las Vegas roll. Food is savoury but at the same time not too much salt until the point where you get really thirsty. The host was really professional and exceptional in doing her duties too! Listen spare you stomachs the illness and disappointment. I tried this place a few times and keep trying to give it a chance because the reviews are so good. Im done trying, this place is nasty. Each time that I have tried this place it has been below average. Yall lying in these reviews and this place is over hyped. This time I got two things from here, the spicy curry ramen and the Hibachi chicken. I tried something different from the last time. Both meals were gross. The spicy ramen, was not spicy at all, more like fishy. The broth was more of a thick paste and the noodles were so mushy it was like they got left in the microwave overnight. The taste and the after taste had my taste buds ready to fight me, it was so nasty. I could not even eat it. Then the Hibachi chicken, was fishy and not to mention it was a lot of sauce. The rubbery chicken was swimming in sauce. It was over powering and ruined the meal. The best thing they had was the Sprite and even that was not good and it was from a can. Not only is this the only REAL Japanese food in Wichita but also some of the best food you can get it was all incredible and I was impressed and same goes for the service from the staff which was super friendly and quick

The restaurant was very clean and with a nice ambience and now on to the food. I ordered the rainbow roll and royals roll which the sushi was perfect and the ramen destroys Yokohama ramen joint by a long shot it was incredible and then the okonomiyaki pancake was to die for with so much flavor! The pork belly chashu and chicken Karaage rice bowls were super tasty you can't beat this place I would give it a 10/10 rating hands down you must try this place!
