Today, Saturday Feb 3rd, I enjoyed a tasty lunch in a surprisingly quaintly decorated restaurant for a mini-mall setting. Our server, Deborah T., pushed our experience to delightful with her friendly, helpful, and personable demeanor. The restaurant served a complimentary wonton and shrimp chips with a sweet Thai dipping sauce. I think they sometimes serve a complimentary soup sometimes, according to my lunch partner. We shared their delicious steamed dumplings served with an incredible house made ginger dipping sauce that was a welcomed change from the traditional chili oil. My main course was a pineapple, cucumber, onion, and tomato wok dish in a lightly sweet sauce, with medium heat spice level, steamed white rice, and with shrimp for the chosen protein. It was delicious. The veggies and pineapple were fresh and perfectly cooked. I wasn't crazy about the tomato as it was unexpected. I don't recall tomatoes in Asian cuisine; however, it was not a detractor despite being unexpected. Lastly, I shared a never before tried Thai dessert dish. It was a warm, sticky rice in a thick, and mildly sweet cream sauce, and then topped with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream. We killed it. Thai table will see me again soon. My next tries will be for their red and then yellow curries. Oh, for the two of us, we shared an appetizer, a soup for one entre, a regular entre, and a dessert, and the meal cost a reasonable $37 that...
Read moreWhat can I say about this establishment. I walked in and was instantly greeted by warm smiles and amazing scents and instantly more hungry. I decided to try the Fried meatball skewers which came with different sauces. They also put a couple of cheese wontons on the side and these were packed with goodness and you know they were made with care. On a recommendation I tried the Beef E-San Grille level 5 on the spicy scale and they didn’t disappoint. As it was put in front of me the first thing I noticed was the fresh Thai chili pieces and I knew this was going to be full of flavor. There was also a side of Tiger cry sauce that is made perfectly there and will add a whole new meaning of flavor to your vocabulary. The restaurant is immaculate and relaxing. The wait staff were amazing. They were attentive but not overbearing in the slightest. My water glass got down to 1/3 filled and all of a sudden she was there with a very genuine smile asking how everything was, topped off my glass and was gone again allowing me to enjoy my amazing meal and to take everything in. I am moving to Wichita soon and now I have to try the...
Read moreWe decided to have a date night and picked a new place to eat. We stumbled upon this Thai restaurant on a Friday night around 7pm. Even though the restaurant was nearly full and the staff were busy we were seated immediately. The establishment was very cozy and clean. The menu had many options to choose from all reasonably priced. Our waitress Deborah explained that everything on the menu was prepared fresh to order and could be tailored to our taste. We ordered fresh tofu soup without the tofu, yellow fried rice with chicken, and drunken noodle pad kee mao with pork. The food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. Everything was fresh and delicious and tasted exceptional. Our waitress was attentive and the service impeccable. I would highly recommend this place for the quick and friendly service and the good quality and the...
