I love sites demonstrating early 19th century everyday life. Based on the the website for Greenbank Mill, I have been most interested to visit this site. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. It was a Saturday and the website indicated that the mill site was open from 10:00 to 4:00; however, when we arrived at 1:OO nothing was open. In the mill building there were four people who went about their business as if we were not even there. Matter of fact, we felt as we were intruding on someones private home. I am aware of how hard it is to maintain and promote small museums, but websites need to be careful how they promote their sites. We will not be returning or recommending Greenbank Mill. It was a...

I had a very lovely wedding here in the Grove with beautiful green trees and the river flowing in the background, followed with the reception in the hall.
