GameStop — Local services in Wilmington

I recently bought a brand-new PS5 bundle from this GameStop location, and the whole experience has been extremely frustrating. The Manager, Michael (or Mike), sold me the console and handed me a box that was already in poor condition. He told me it had been sitting there for two years, so I trusted him—even though the box popped open as he gave it to me.

When I got home, I noticed the voucher that was supposed to be part of the bundle was missing. I thoroughly checked the box, packaging—everything. It simply wasn't there. I tried calling the store over 50 times and no one picked up. I contacted GameStop support, and they advised me to go back to the store.

I returned first thing in the morning. Not only was Mike unhelpful, but he was also rude and dismissive. I even called GameStop customer service while in the store and had them on speaker. They clearly told him the situation warranted an exchange or return, yet he outright refused to help or follow their guidance.

I left the store extremely disappointed and frustrated. I spent a lot of money and expected at the very least respectful service and a complete product. Instead, I got a damaged-looking box, missing contents, and unacceptable customer service.

Would not recommend this location or I would suggest check the item before exiting the store. Seems like store manager Mike stole the item as I was suspecting during the purchase because of...

Ordered a game online to pick up at this store. I went to get the game (day 6 after ordering). The website said we had 7 days to pickup. When I got to the store I was told it was canceled due to a “new policy” of cancellation of day 4. I called the customer service line while there and they reiterated the 7 day policy yet the store still stood by this 4 day thing. Here’s the interesting part…they had actually cancelled our order DAY 6 (the morning of the same day we came to get it). So they still didn't even honor the 4 days! We have NOT received a refund and I had to buy the last game because I didn’t want it sell out. We got a few apologies but no other offer of recourse…not even my OWN money back (yet). I would say just go to the store and buy what you want but theres other game...

The game selection at this gamestop is great. the staff knows a good game when they see it, and if there not sure if a game is good or not they will be honest about it plus if a game is awful they'll let know it sucks when you ask about it.

The selection of Xbox 360 isnt the largest ive seen but you can find some backwards compatible gems in that section if your will to look for them if your Xbox one owner.

As for the selection of Xbox one games they have i found some awesome titles and the wireless controllers i bought still as does my wired controller so I'd if want to go to a gamestop that give you a good experience i highly recommend this location i always get good...
