Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Wilmington

Their worst restaurant in the area, they've gotten our order wrong 3 times, we'll this last time I finally had enough and called their 800 # since you can't call the store and I don't live nearby, after being on hold forever finally was told someone from that location would contact me within 3 days, well fast forward 1 week and nothing, meanwhile they charged me $9.70 for a Cobb salad that they didn't include in my order. No biggie I figured I'd stop at the store the next time I was in the area, well I did that today with my receipt in hand, I spoke to a friendly cashier who said he'd get his manager (Darcy) well she came over while counting money and a fake smirk on her face and said almost immediately, uhh no we can't do anything about that 😂, I was in shock she literally was looking at me like I just wanted a free salad, I told her I called their customer service and haven't received a call back and she proceeded to tell me you just have to keep waiting 😂 😂 😂, never in a million years did i think out of all fast food places chic fil would be the ones to treat their customers like this. At this point I could care less about the money or stupid salad it's the principle. Visited this location on 5/31/25 at around 10:15am. Not a great experience. First, I ordered ahead on the app so the food would be ready and I could be on my way. I get to the drive through and go to the window to pick up my order but only the drinks are ready and I was told they’re waiting on the rest of my order. I was told to move up a bit to the end of the drive through line and my order would be ready. For context: I ordered a breakfast chicken sandwich with cheese and tater tots, and a drink, and two spicy chicken breakfast sandwiches, one with egg and cheese, tater tots, and a drink.

So, I move up as asked and 6 cars came and went through the drive through with their order….whilst I wait, after having ordered ahead. Finally, my order comes out and I’m on my way, about 10 mins behind schedule. Then come to find out part of my order was wrong. The spicy chicken sandwich with egg and cheese was just egg and cheese on a biscuit. No chicken. To add insult to injury, I drove out of my way to this chick fil a because the one closer to me is unreliable with the speed of the drive through so I came to this one thinking it’d be smooth sailing. Updated review: Last night I had the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food restaurant. My husband and I ordered in advance through the app and sat in the line for 45 MINUTES-yes, you read that right-only to reach the window and be told "they didn't put our order through right." Wasn't sure who "they" were or what that meant since they did indeed have a record of our order. The food just hadn't been prepared and bagged. We were notified of this after waiting at the window for 20 of the 45 minutes, with an entire line of people, most of whom had already received their food, stuck behind us. Finally, they asked if we would like to wait (some more) while they prepared the order or receive a refund. We weren't able to wait any longer since we had to pick up our kid, so after all that wasted time (and gas) we left empty-handed and arrived to pick him up late with no dinner.

Original review: Our food was good. The employees were working quickly to get the long drive-thru line down. They didn't give me my sweet tea, which I didn't realize until I got home🥺 Fries were about half just tiny bits as opposed to full fries. Had a much better experience dining in.
