Very disappointed!! I went into the Landfall store on June 15, 2019 to order a specific piece of furniture. The manufacturer’s web site had listed Haverty's was an authorized dealer. Dado was the salesperson who waited on me and he checked about ordering the piece. An hour and a half later, he told me the piece was available and it could be ordered. It would take 4-6 weeks for it to arrive. I ordered the piece on June 17. My credit card was charged but I never received the receipt. I called on July 12 to check on the order and Dado was out. I left a message. No return call. On Tuesday, July 16, I called again and spoke with a female salesperson. She said she would notify the store manager because the information I needed could only be checked by him. He did not call me back. On Friday, July 19, I called again and finally spoke with the store manager, Michael Burke, to check on the order. He confirmed the order had been placed and emailed me my receipt. He said the piece should arrive in August. I asked could he check on the date and give me a little smaller window. He said he would check and get back with me. On Monday, July 22, Dado called to say the piece was no longer available and had been discontinued by the manufacturer. I asked Dado to speak with Michael Burke and Dado said he had just left and would not be back until Wednesday, July 24. He had given Dado the information about the availability and then he left for two days. I can't understand how on Friday, Michael Burke, store manager, confirms it was ordered and should be shipped in August and then on Monday, the piece is no longer available. They kept my money for five weeks to now say it’s not available. I called the manufacturer and they said the piece had been discontinued in February 2019. I was shocked at their lack of concern and as well as their urgency to return my calls. Read moreWe purchased a Memphis dining table and chairs for a total of approximately $3000.00 First two table tops were damaged, the third was fine. Shortly after using the table, placemats are always used, spots left from food could not be cleaned off. One of the main reasons we bought the table was because of the durable finish… we were told even sharpie could be removed. Had to about beg for someone to come look at the table and finally the manager at the store stepped in and customer service did send out a repairman. This very nice man put something on the table that would remove the stains and enhance the finish. He said he could see it soaking in. With the finish advertised nothing should be soaking in, in my opinion. 24 hours later I noticed swirls all over the entire table. These swirls are now permanent and look like scratches. Called CS and they sent a link to add photos. I was told they probably would not help any further and I would have to contact the store. I did this and Bobbette, the manager, is ordering a new top and we are appreciative. Only hope the finish is correct on what will be our 4th table top!!
